Inherently low concentrations of zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), iodine (I), and selenium (Se) in wheat ( L.) grains represent a major cause of micronutrient malnutrition (hidden hunger) in human populations. Genetic biofortification represents a highly useful solution to this problem.

Odontoma is classified into two variants: compound odontoma, which has resemblance to the tooth structure, and complex odontoma, which consists of haphazardly arranged enamel and dentin bearing no resemblance to the tooth structure. The most common site of occurrence of complex odontoma is the posterior aspect of mandible.

Grain protein content (GPC) is an important quality trait that effectively modulates end-use quality and nutritional characteristics of wheat flour-based food products. The gene is responsible for the higher protein content in wheat grain. In addition to higher GPC, the is also generally associated with reduced grain filling period which eventually causes the yield penalty in wheat.

Worldwide, 40% population consumes wheat ( L.) as a staple food that is low in zinc (Zn) content. Zn deficiency is a major micronutrient disorder in crop plants and humans worldwide, adversely impacting agricultural productivity, human health and socio-economic concern.

The morphological and chemotaxonomic characteristics of these two organisms are typical of the genus Priestia. The phylogenetic analyses performed using almost complete 16S rRNA gene sequences demonstrated that the isolate belongs to the Bacillaceae family, and forms a clade within the cluster containing Priestia flexus MTCC 2909, Priestia aryabhattai B8W22 and Priestia megaterium KCTC 3007 and both strains showed highest similarity of > 98% with 3-29 nucleotide differences.

Background: Worldwide, hypertension is considered as an important health issue due to its unbearable complication of cardiovascular, renal, and nervous system diseases.
Aims And Objective: The aim was to find the prevalence and inadequately treated undiagnosed hypertension in the general population attending the Outpatient Department (OPD) of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, King George's Medical University, Lucknow.
Materials And Methods: A total of 2500 patients were enrolled in the study within the age group of 20-60 years, attending dental clinics.
Widespread malnutrition of zinc (Zn), iodine (I), iron (Fe) and selenium (Se), known as hidden hunger, represents a predominant cause of several health complications in human populations where rice ( L.) is the major staple food. Therefore, increasing concentrations of these micronutrients in rice grain represents a sustainable solution to hidden hunger.

Background: Children are uniquely susceptible to craniofacial trauma because of their greater cranial mass-to-body ratio. The craniofacial injuries comprise approximately 11.3% of an overall pediatric emergency, and its etiology affects the incidence, clinical presentation, and treatment modalities, which are influenced by sociodemographic, economic, and cultural factor of the population being studied.

Biosurfactants were produced using 1% yeast extract in tap water as production medium at 24 h in flask and 12 h in bioreactor. Using 16S rRNA gene sequence (1515 bp) and BCL card (bioMérieux VITEK), strain was identified as Bacillus sp.

However, a sizeable portion of these injuries are still being treated in a closed manner based on old literature, convenience, results deemed acceptable, and lesser associated morbidity. Most MCFs with multiple associated facial traumas are appropriately treated under general anesthesia (GA).

However, agronomic benefits of high-Zn seeds were not studied under diverse agro-climatic field conditions. This study investigated effects of low-Zn and high- Zn seeds (biofortified by foliar Zn fertilization of maternal plants under field conditions) of wheat ( L.

The formation of in situ generated AgNPs on the surface of the NGFs was studied using scanning electron microscope (SEM), high resolution transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscope (EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscope (XPS). The HR-TEM analysis indicated the presence of spherical AgNPs on the surface of the fillers with a size ranging from 10 to 100 nm but majority of them in the 11 to 20 nm range.

This in silico analysis revealed the presence of a conserved cellulase domain along with evolutionary relationships among cellulases from several species of Archaea, Bacteria, and Eukarya. The amino acid sequences of cellulases from Archaea and Bacteria showed closer identity with their domain or phylum members that provided insights into convergent and divergent evolution of cellulases from other enzymes with different substrate specificities.

Introduction: The term oro-antral fistula is understood to mean of fistular canal covered with epithelia which may or may not be filled with granulation tissue or polyposis of the sinus mucous membrane. With the presence of a fistula the sinus is permanently open, which enables the passage of microbial flora of the oral cavity into the maxillary sinus and the occurrence of inflammation with all possible consequences. Every now and then various researchers have proposed innumerable techniques to treat this defect.
