Rural America faces an alarming obesity crisis, with residents experiencing significantly higher rates of obesity due to socioeconomic disparities, limited access to healthcare, and structural challenges such as food deserts and insufficient healthcare infrastructure. This perspective addresses these pressing issues by proposing targeted, evidence-based interventions to reduce obesity in rural communities. This study aimed to develop and assess an AI-driven diagnostic support system for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based soft-tissue tumor diagnosis, potentially improving accuracy and aiding radiologists and orthopedic surgeons.
Methods: An experienced orthopedic oncologist and radiologist annotated 720 images from 77 cases (41 benign and 36 malignant soft-tissue tumors).

Objective: Childhood vaccine uptake in the United Kingdom (UK) is sub-optimal leading to outbreaks of preventable diseases. We aimed to explore UK parents' perspectives on why some children are unvaccinated or vaccinated late.
Methods: We undertook a mixed-methods, co-production study involving a survey using a questionnaire followed by focus groups.
Background: COVID-19 vaccines were key to controlling the pandemic and vaccination has been discussed extensively by the media and the public since 2020. We aimed to explore parents' attitudes towards routine childhood vaccination since COVID-19 and how the pandemic impacted their experiences of getting their child vaccinated.
Methods: We used a mixed-methods approach-involving a questionnaire survey followed by focus groups.

In this paper, we introduce a screening protocol for epitope mapping by hydrogen exchange mass spectrometry (HX-MS) that has higher throughput than a traditional HX-MS epitope mapping. In the screening protocol, three HX labeling times (20, 1000, and 86400 s) are each measured without replicates. The experimental protocol is anchored on a single epitope mapping experiment conducted using the traditional complete protocol (five HX times measured in triplicate) that is used to define HX times and define significance limits.

Purpose: To evaluate the incidence of large bore hemodialysis catheter malfunction in the setting of COVID-19.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective review was performed of all patients who underwent placement of a temporary hemodialysis catheter after developing kidney injury after COVID-19 infection at our institution. Data collected included demographic information, procedure related information, and incidence of replacement due to lumen thrombosis.
