Biological hydroxyapatite (BHA) is widely used in the treatment of clinical bone defects due to its good biocompatibility and osteoconductivity. The clinical application of mateiral size is based on the principle of bone defect area adaptation, which contributes to diversity of BHA sizes. However, different sizes correspond to different hierarchical levels of bone biomimicry.

However, the mechanism and intrinsic selectivity for removal of Fe(III), Al(III), and Mg(II) from wet-process phosphoric acid (WPA) by phosphonic group (-POH) functionalized MTS9500 are still unclear. In this work, the removal mechanisms were determined via combined analysis of FT-IR, XPS, molecular dynamics (MD), and quantum chemistry (QC) simulations based on density functional theory (DFT).

The content analysis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and scanning electron microscope focused ion beam (SEM-FIB) indicates that the LG structure is deformed by the doped P atom.
