Background: Posthepatectomy liver failure is one of the main causes of death in patients after hepatectomy. This study intends to establish a prediction model to predict the risk of posthepatectomy liver failure and provide a scientific basis for further reducing the incidence of posthepatectomy liver failure.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of 1,172 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma undergoing partial hepatectomy.
Background: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is one of the most common risk factors for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). However, there is no direct evidence of a causal relationship between HBV infection and ICC. In this study, we attempted to prove that ICC may originate from hepatocytes through a pathological study involving ICC tissue-derived organoids.

The kinetics of three sets of bromated diphenyl ether (BDE) isomers were compared in the same reactors, and the results showed that the PBDE isomers with lower energy of lowest unoccupied molecular orbital and higher energy of highest occupied molecular orbital will be degraded faster by ultraviolet (UV) light than other BDE isomers. The overall debromination pathways of 2,2',4,4'-tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-47) were elucidated, and we found that the bromine substituents with higher Mulliken charges were preferentially removed.

In this study, we have investigated this question through the case study of the debromination of 2, 2', 4, 4'-tetrabromodiphenyl ether (BDE-47). The debromination rates of isomer products of BDE-47 by palladized nano zero-valent iron (n-ZVI/Pd) in the same reactor were compared.
