The development of low-porosity and low-permeability oil reservoirs in the Changqing oilfield presents a significant challenge due to the high injection pressure and limited space for profile control and pressure raising. Therefore, the synergistic profile control and flooding technology of polymer microspheres (PMs) and nanoemulsions is proposed, which makes use of the plugging performance of PMs and the pressure-reducing and oil-driving properties of nanoemulsions, with the objective of controlling the water-absorbing profile and increasing the recovery rate. The paper assessed the properties of nanoemulsions and PMs and evaluated their suitability for reservoirs.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the material basis of the antidiabetic effects of ZSS by inhibiting α-amylase.
In this study, polyoxometalates (POMs) as a core-modifying material was used to fabricate the nanofiltration (NF) membrane on the polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) microfiltration membrane substrate via a novel interfacial polymerization (IP) method. The formation mechanism of the POMs-modified composite membrane was proposed. The separation and antifouling properties were further investigated.

Based on panel data from 275 cities in China from 2003 to 2020, the difference-in-differences method was used to examine the impact of the innovative city pilot policy on urban innovation convergence. The study finds that the pilot policy not only improves the innovation level of cities (basic effect) but also promotes innovation convergence among pilot cities (convergence effect).

Applying an in-situ observation technique, the real-time formation and growth of FeAl solid-state dendrites during the eutectoid decomposition of the high-temperature phase FeAl is visualized. In-situ experiments by HT-CSLM reveal that proeutectoid FeAl usually does not preferentially nucleate at grain boundaries regardless of rapid or slow cooling conditions.

To investigate the treatment effect of algae biosorbent on heavy metal wastewater, in this paper, the adsorption effect of powder on heavy metal ions copper, cadmium and nickel was investigated using the uniform experimental method, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and TG-DSC comprehensive thermal analysis. The experimental results showed that the initial concentration of copper ion solution was 25 mg/L, the temperature was 30 °C, the pH value was 8 and the adsorption time was 5 h, which was the best condition for the removal of copper ions by algae powder adsorption, and the removal rate was 83.24%.

However, the relationship between the knowledge diversity of collaborating team members and research performance has been overlooked. In this study, we measured knowledge diversity through the disciplinary attributes of collaborating authors and research performance (understood as societal impact) through altmetric data.

The mixing treated SPI-EGCG samples (M-SE) were non-covalently linked, while the chemical polymerization and ultrasound treated SPI-EGCG samples (C-SE and U-SE, respectively) were bound covalently. The covalent binding of EGCG with protein improved the molecular weight and changed the structures of the SPI by decreasing the α-helix content.

Methods: A total of 120 convalescent stroke patients hospitalized in the Rehabilitation Department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine from June 2017 to December 2019 were enrolled in this trial. Patients were assigned to control (60 cases) and research (60 cases) groups by computer random assignment.
To develop the medicinal and edible plant resources of Althaea officinalis Linn in Europe and other places, this study concentrated on the bioactive ingredients of its different extracts. The phytochemical compositions of MeOH extracts were evaluated by UPLC-DAD-ESI-Q-TOF-MS analysis. The in vitro antioxidant properties, enzymes inhibitory effects and nitric oxide (NO) production inhibitory activities of fractions obtained from the aerial parts of Althaea officinalis (APAO) were evaluated.

For the above reasons, a beneficial effect of acupuncture on pruritus was not recommended or reported in recent clinical practice guidelines. Acupuncture is a kind of physical stimulation, which has the characteristics of multi-channel and multi-target effects.

Early swimming intervention is a noninvasive method combining enriched environment and exercise, which has been proven to improve brain development in young children and to treat neurodevelopmental diseases.
Methods: In this study, we tested the autism-like behavior of rats with deletions in exons 11-21 of the gene and evaluated the effect of early swimming intervention (from postnatal day 8 to 60) on the behavior of this animal model of autism.
Background: In recent years, nanocarriers for transporting active substances have attracted attention. This study was to explore the soy protein isolate (SPI) after high-pressure homogenization (HPH) (0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 MPa) as potential lutein carriers.
Results: The load amount (LA) and encapsulation efficiency (EE) of the SPI-lutein nanocomplexes at a homogenization pressure of 60 MPa were the highest (2.
Targeting PD1/PDL1 with blocking antibodies for cancer therapy has shown promising benefits in the clinic, but only approximately 20-30% of patients develop durable clinical responses to the treatment. Bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) that combine PD1/PDL1 blockade with the modulation of another immune checkpoint target may have greater potential to enhance immune checkpoint blockade therapy. In this study, we identified an anti-PD1 monoclonal antibody, 609A, whose heavy chain can pair with a variety of light chains from different antibodies while maintaining its PD1 binding/blocking activity.

Background: Shoulder-hand syndrome (SHS) refers to a syndrome causing sudden edema, shoulder pain and limited hand function. Qingpeng ointment, a kind of Tibetan medicine, can reduce swelling, relieve pain, tonify stagnation and clear the meridians, which is consistent with the pathological mechanism of SHS after stroke. Therefore, if clinical trials can be used to explore the effectiveness of Qingpeng ointment for the treatment of poststroke SHS and promote its application in clinical medicine, it may prove the specific significance for the treatment of poststroke SHS poststroke SHS.
