Background: This research utilized the bibliometrics method to analyze the published literature related to prostate cancer (PCa) imaging. Furthermore, current knowledge and research hotspots of radiomics in PCa diagnosis and treatment were comprehensively reviewed, as well as progress and emerging trends in field were explored.
Methods: In this investigation, the relevant literature on radiomics, and PCa was retrieved from Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) databases from 2000 and 2024.
A tooth-bearing mandible fossil of a colobine monkey discovered at Shuitangba, Zhaotong, Yunnan, China, was morphometrically analyzed and compared with extant Asian colobines. Our previous qualitative and quantitative descriptions indicate that it can be safely attributed to Mesopithecus pentelicus, a Miocene fossil colobine widely found in Europe and South Asia. The present research aims to explore fossil association with extant colobines and functionally propose its dietary preferences based on multivariate morphometric analyses of mandibular morphology.

Methods: This study enrolled a total of 42 patients (79 eyes) with GO as the GO group, 10 patients (20 eyes) diagnosed with graves' disease (GD) without orbitopathy during the same period as the GD group, and 23 normal individuals with negative MRI results and no thyroid or eye diseases as the healthy control (HC) group. The signal intensity of the lacrimal gland (LG), extraocular muscle (EOM), ipsilateral temporal muscle (TM), ramus mandibulae, and white matter (WM) on MRI images was measured.
Objective: Depression and osteoporosis are usually concurrent health problems. This study aimed to explore the development of osteoporosis in depressive mice model and investigate the beneficial effects of the classical herbal formula Chaihu-Shugan-San (CHSG) on the brain and bone.
Methods: CHSG powder was prepared by spray-drying following extraction with water.

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of posterior unilateral biportal endoscopic(UBE) cervical discectomy for cervical radiculopathy under general anesthesia.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of 35 patients with cervical disc herniation uderwent posterior UBE cervical discectomy under general anesthesia from March 2021 to March 2023 was performed, including 17 males and 18 females, with an average age of (56.00±7.
This study presents a high-power, single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) fiber oscillator with a ring cavity design, operating at 1064 nm. Utilizing a double-cladding ytterbium-doped fiber as the gain medium, the system incorporates a fiber Bragg grating Fabry-Perot cavity and a dual coupler ring for step-by-step filtering to achieve SLM operation. With a pump power of 4.

However, the properties of conventional PB metasurfaces are intrinsically limited by the Lorentz reciprocity. Breaking reciprocity can give rise to new properties and phenomena unavailable in conventional reciprocal systems.

The key to creating such emergent features has generally been considered to be related to counterpoising strongly polar and non-polar materials thus creating the appropriate boundary conditions. This limits the utility these materials can have, however, by rendering (effectively) half of the structure unresponsive to applied stimuli.

Whether immune cells and inflammatory factors mediate the pathway from gut microbiota to neuropathic pain has not been elucidated.

Retinoid X receptor (RXR) is a special member of the NRs, which not only responds to cellular signaling independently, but also regulates multiple signaling pathways by forming heterodimers with various other NR. Therefore, RXR is widely involved in hepatic glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, cholesterol metabolism and bile acid homeostasis as well as hepatic fibrosis.

Here, we present an extraordinary case of recurrent SEH accompanied by thoracolumbar spine fractures resulting from minor trauma, and provide evidence-based recommendations for the surgical management strategies in this unique scenario.

Traditionally, extracting single, flat- or curved-rooted teeth through twisting is unfeasible. However, our clinical practice suggests that such teeth can be extracted efficiently through moderate twisting in a minimally invasive manner. Given the lack of studies on biomechanics of the tooth-periodontal ligament (PDL) complex during torsion, which has further constrained its application, we assessed the feasibility of the torsion method for extracting single-rooted teeth and evaluated its minimally invasive potential.

In the fields of agriculture and forestry, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is a critical indicator for assessing the physiological state of plants. Traditional imaging sensors can only collect two-dimensional vegetation distribution data, while dual-wavelength LiDAR technology offers the capability to capture vertical distribution information, which is essential for forest structure recovery and precision agriculture management. However, existing LiDAR systems face challenges in detecting echoes at two wavelengths, typically relying on multiple detectors or array sensors, leading to high costs, bulky systems, and slow detection rates.

Elevated intracardiac pressures and myocyte stretch in heart failure trigger the release of counter-regulatory natriuretic peptides, which act through their receptor (NPR1) to affect vasodilation, diuresis and natriuresis, lowering venous pressures and relieving venous congestion. Recombinant natriuretic peptide infusions were developed to treat heart failure but have been limited by a short duration of effect.

A 3D-printed core-shell structure bezafibrate osmotic pump tablet was developed based on the characteristics of rapid absorption and short half-life of bezafibrate, utilizing semisolid extrusion (SSE) 3D printing technology. First, the properties of different shell materials were investigated to define the composition of the shell, and ultimately, the optimal formulation was found to be ethyl cellulose:cellulose acetate:polyethylene glycol = 2:1:2.

Based on the chelating metal ion properties of polydopamine (PDA), arsenic was immobilized on an organic carrier, and a M1-like macrophage cell membrane (MM)-camouflaged manganese-arsenic complex mesoporous polydopamine (MnAsOx@MP@M) nanoplatform was successfully constructed. MnAsOx@MP@M was evaluated at the cellular level for tumor inhibition and tumor localization, and for its anti-liver cancer effect in a Hepa1-6 tumor-bearing mouse model.
