Aims: The objective of this study was to determine the content validity of an assessment instrument for embouchure (the "CODE of Embouchure") which covers the main aspects of the construct of embouchure in brass players.

Methods: The study design followed the Delphi technique. A select panel of 35 international experts gave their opinion via a three-round digital Delphi survey as to whether the instrument as a whole, and its items, adequately measure the construct of embouchure.

Unlabelled: Brass players may experience problems producing an optimal sound (or range of sounds) in their instrument. Assessing and treating dysfunctional embouchure requires knowledge of functional embouchure, but peer-reviewed literature on dysfunctional and functional embouchure is scarce.

Objective: This study aimed to provide a narrative overview of embouchure based on information from different scientific and clinical fields.

Background: Instead of hyper-reflexia as sole paradigm, post-stroke movement disorders are currently considered the result of a complex interplay between neuronal and muscular properties, modified by level of activity. We used a closed loop system identification technique to quantify individual contributors to wrist joint stiffness during an active posture task.

Methods: Continuous random torque perturbations applied to the wrist joint by a haptic manipulator had to be resisted maximally.

Objective: A multidimensional rehabilitation program for cancer survivors was developed to overcome cancer-related problems and to improve quality of life. The two purposes of the study were to describe the effectiveness of the program and to obtain information about patient preferences for multi or mono dimensional rehabilitation programs.

Subjects: cancer survivors with different diagnoses, and cancer-related physical and psychosocial problems.
