Objective: The aim: The study of the possibilities of oxidase-antioxidant system indicators regulation at patients with periodontitis under the influence of complex treatment.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: 36 healthy and 125 patients with chronic and exacerbated periodontitis of primary (22 and 21), I (21) and II (20) degrees were examined.Indicators of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protection (levels of diene conjugates and malonic dialdehyde, catalase activity and transferrin iron saturation, ceruloplasmin activity) in the blood serum were studied before, 6 and 12 months after the appointed treatment.
