The gastrointestinal tract may be affected, and lymphangiectasia originating in the wall of the intestine has rarely been described. We present a case of primary small bowel lymphangiectasia causing intussusception in a 30-year-old woman who presented with emesis and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of IBD patients who visited the emergency department because of abdominal pain between January 2009 and December 2014.
A 30-year-old previously healthy female, who was six-week postpartum, experienced sudden collapse and tonic-clonic seizure. Emergency medicine services arrived at the scene and the patient was found to be in ventricular fibrillation. Advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) was initiated with return of spontaneous circulation.
