Background: Providing effective dental treatment during pregnancy is related to controlling oral diseases and helps maintain a healthy oral cavity. One of the possible treatment options for endodontic disease is to treat the odontogenic infection, maintain a healthy oral environment, and minimize the expected complications that can occur later in pregnancy or during the postpartum period. Sufficient awareness among obstetricians and dentists is essential to delivering appropriate preventive and curative care to pregnant patients.

Methods: We conducted a population-based cohort study using the United States Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project-Nationwide Inpatient Sample from 1999 to 2008. The incidence of CIN and cervical cancer was measured and logistic regression analysis used to estimate the adjusted effect of CIN and cervical cancer on obstetrical outcomes.
Robot-assisted gynecologic surgery is performed with a pneumoperitoneum and prolonged maximum Trendelenburg position which can result in adverse physiologic effects. The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility of robot-assisted gynecologic oncology procedures and to identify anesthesia-related peri-operative adverse events. This is a case series performed on the first 133 patients who underwent a robot-assisted gynecologic oncology procedure at a tertiary care facility.
