Isothermal-compression tests of BC/6063Al composites containing 20 vol.% BC were performed using a Gleeble-3500 device, at strain rates ranging from 0.001 s to 1 s and deformation temperatures ranging from 723 K to 823 K.

The effects of the roasting temperature and NaCO amount on the leaching rate of boron-bearing tailings are mainly evaluated. The morphology and composition of the samples after sodium roasting are analysed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.

The gas pressure in the feedstock tank and the perturbation imposed on a capillary jet are the primary parameters to control the formation process of the droplets. However, the lack of a simple method for producing perturbation is a major limitation of continuous-ink-jet technology.
