Peritoneal metastasis (PM) is a common metastasis site and death cause of gastric cancer, which is a complex biological process, but there is currently a lack of effective prediction and treatment targets. In this study, we first analyzed the differential gene expression of gastric cancer patients with or without peritoneal metastasis, and identified the HECT domain E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 2 (HECTD2) as the core gene of PM in gastric cancer. Objective: This study was developed to explore the incidence of multi-drug resistant organism (MDRO) infections among ruptured intracranial aneurysms(RIA) patient with hospital-acquired pneumonia(HAP) in the neurological intensive care unit (NICU), and to establish risk factors related to the development of these infections.
Methods: We collected clinical and laboratory data from 328 eligible patients from January 2018 to December 2022. Bacterial culture results were used to assess MDRO strain distributions, and risk factors related to MDRO infection incidence were identified through logistic regression analyses.
Purpose: DEK::AFF2 fusion-associated squamous cell carcinoma (DEK::AFF2 SCC), also reported in the literature as low-grade papillary sinonasal (Schneiderian) carcinoma (LGPSC), is a rare, primarily bland-appearing, but locally aggressive neoplasm. Morphologically, these tumors can closely resemble sinonasal papilloma (SP), especially on small or limited biopsy, often leading to misdiagnosis. DEK::AFF2 SCC is devoid of the underlying mutually exclusive EGFR or KRAS driver mutations of SP, suggesting it may represent a distinct unique entity.

To investigate the changes in their physicochemical indices: water content, volatile salt base nitrogen, malondialdehyde content, protein content and total colony count during fermentation. Methods: A qualitative descriptive design was used.
Between 2013 and 2018, the novel A/Anhui/1/2013 (AH/13)-lineage H7N9 virus caused at least five waves of outbreaks in humans, totaling 1,567 confirmed human cases in China. Surveillance data indicated a disproportionate distribution of poultry infected with this AH/13-lineage virus, and laboratory experiments demonstrated that this virus can efficiently spread among chickens but not among Pekin ducks. The underlying mechanism of this selective transmission remains unclear.
