Currently, there are two methods of treating subtrochanteric femur fractures: intramedullary nailing and extramedullary plate fixation. However, it remains to be seen whether internal or external fixation is the primary treatment for subrotator femur fractures in adults. In this meta-analysis, we reviewed the effects of internal and external fixation on the treatment of subrotator and subrotator fractures.

Diacerein versus non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis: a meta-analysis.

Background: Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a common musculoskeletal condition affecting millions of people worldwide and posing a significant challenge to clinicians and researchers. Emerging evidence suggests that the multifaceted symptomatology of KOA may be alleviated by diacerein. With this in mind, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of diacerein in patients with KOA.

Effect of Sintering Temperature on the Properties of Highly Electrical Resistive SiC Ceramics as a Function of YO-ErO Additions.

Silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics with YO-ErO as sintering additives were prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS). The effects of sintering temperatures and YO-ErO contents on the microstructure, thermal conductivity, electrical, and mechanical properties were investigated. The increasing of sintering temperatures promoted the densification of SiC ceramics, thus increasing the thermal conductivity and electrical resistivity.
