Population genetic analyses of 15 STR loci from seven forensically-relevant populations residing in the state of Kuwait.

Allele frequencies and population statistics of 15 forensically-important STR loci were estimated for seven populations residing in the State of Kuwait. The populations were: Saudi Arabian, Iraqi, Egyptian, Iranian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, and Indian. All loci were highly polymorphic.

Clinical evaluation of posterior resin composite restorations placed by dental students of Kuwait University.

Objective: To investigate the survival rate over a 3-year period of posterior resin composite restorations placed by dental students of Kuwait University.

Materials And Methods: Posterior resin composite restorations placed by 5th-, 6th- and 7th-year dental students between 2004 and 2005 were evaluated. All patients with posterior composite restorations placed during this period of time were recalled.
