Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) multispectral remote sensing can be used to monitor multiple water quality parameters, such as suspended solids, turbidity, total phosphorus, and chlorophyll. Establishing a stable and accurate water quality parameter inversion model is a prerequisite for this work. The matching pixel-by-pixel (MPP) algorithm is an inversion algorithm for high resolution features of UAV images; however, it is associated with problems of excessive computation and over-fitting.
