Partial nitrification (PN), is a promising nitrogen removal technology in wastewater treatment. Contrary to the dogma that low dissolved oxygen (DO) is more conducive to achieving PN, this study successfully established PN within 7 days under high DO conditions (> 6 mg/L). Ultra-stable PN was maintained over 143 days with an average nitrite accumulation ratio of 98 % treating real domestic wastewater.

In this report, nitrogen-doped porous hollow carbon spheres with a size of about 300 nm were fabricated using a modified Stöber method and decorated with an FeNi alloy through a pyrolytic reduction process, resulting in a promising bifunctional electrocatalyst for both the oxygen evolution reaction and oxygen reduction reaction. The as-prepared FeNi@NHCS electrocatalyst exhibits excellent bifunctional activity in KOH electrolyte, attributed to its mesoporous structure, large specific surface area, and the strong coupling between the FeNi nanoalloy and nitrogen-doped carbon carriers.

In this work, systematic studies have been carried out to explore the chemical reactivities at the terminal ligand sites and the redox properties of a series of clusters comprising a [WFeSN] cubane core, based on the previously developed cluster [(Tp*)WFeS(μ-NSiMe)Cl]. Substitutions of the terminal chlorides with ethanethiolate, methanethiolate, thiophenolate, -thiocresolate and azide occurred smoothly, while the replacement of the chlorides with carbene ligands required the reduction of the precursor into [(Tp*)WFeS(μ-NSiMe)Cl] first.

Results: Of the 92 patients, 37 were male and 55 were female with an average age of 33.

Methods: The data of 5 patients who developed NPE after head injury treated in our hospital form December 1995 to May 2003 were collected and analyzed.
Results: The patients developed dyspnea and respiratory failure 2-8 hours after neurologic event.

Objective: To investigate the ability of hemoperfusion to remove some drugs or toxin from the body and its clinical efficacy.
Methods: Sixty-nine cases of poisoning due to tetramine or other drugs poisoning in our hospital between July 1990 and December 2003 were studied. Thirty-four patients among them received conventional treatment (including early gastric lavage, hepatoprotection, diuresis or respiratory support), and the remaining were given conventional treatment and hemoperfusion.
