Delayed organising pneumonia in an immunocompromised host after a mild COVID-19 infection.

Organising pneumonia after a mild COVID-19 infection has been increasingly reported and poses a diagnostic challenge to physicians especially in immunocompromised patients. We report a patient with a background of lymphoma in remission on rituximab who presented with prolonged and persistent fever after recovering from a mild COVID-19 infection. The initial workup showed bilateral lower zone lung consolidation; however, the infective and autoimmune workup were unremarkable.

Factors associated with level of shared decision making in Malaysian primary care consultations.

Objective: To measure the level of shared decision-making (SDM) in primary care consultations in Malaysia, a multicultural, middle-income developing country.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in an urban, public primary care clinic. Convenience sampling was used to recruit participants, and audio-recorded consultations were scored for SDM levels by two independent raters using the OPTION tool.

Shared decision making: A dual-layer model to tackling multimorbidity in primary care.

It is common for primary care providers (PCPs) to manage complex multimorbidity. When caring for patients with multimorbidity, PCPs face challenges to tackle several issues within a short consultation in order to address patients' complex needs. Furthermore, some PCPs may lack access to a multidisciplinary team and need to manage multimorbidity within the confine of a PCP-patient partnership only.
