This study presents an advanced artificial intelligence-driven framework designed to enhance the speed and accuracy of bone fracture detection, addressing key limitations in traditional diagnostic approaches that rely on manual image analysis. The proposed framework integrates the YOLOv8 object detection model with a ResNet backbone to combine robust feature extraction and precise fracture classification. This combination effectively identifies and categorizes bone fractures within X-ray images, supporting reliable diagnostic outcomes.

Composite-based bipolar plates are a chance to substitute graphite and metal bipolar plates because of their corrosion resistance and better chemical and mechanical properties, but they still have various electrical conductivity properties. One of the problems is the loading of filler that depends on matrix types which will affect the electrical conductivity of bipolar plates; ebonite has potential as a matrix in composite bipolar plates because it is obtained from elastomer or rubber. In this work, nickel and carbon nanotubes (CNT) that have a high electrical conductivity will be investigated as additive fillers on graphite particles to enhance the electrical conductivity of ebonite bipolar plates.

This study was conducted to explore the concept of self-assessment that must be practiced by Islamic education teachers for continuous professional development, focusing on the views of Islamic education teachers (IETs). Since, the researcher is trying to collect further information, it is appropriate to employ a qualitative approach in the form of a case study. Six participants were selected using purposive sampling techniques based on specific criteria.

Mammalian riboswitches that can regulate transgene expression via RNA-small molecule interaction have promising applications in medicine and biotechnology, as they involve no protein factors that can induce immunogenic reactions and are not dependent on specially engineered promoters. However, the lack of cell-permeable and low-toxicity small molecules and cognate aptamers that can be exploited as riboswitches and the modest switching performance of mammalian riboswitches have limited their applications. In this study, we systematically optimized the design of a riboswitch that regulates exon skipping via an RNA aptamer that binds ASP2905.

This study optimized subcritical water extraction (SWE) conditions to maximize pectin yield from cocoa pod husk (CPH) and compared the characteristics of CPH pectin extracted through SWE with those of CPH pectin obtained through conventional extraction (CE) with citric acid. The Box-Behnken experimental design was employed to optimize SWE and examine the influence of process parameters, including temperature (100 °C-120 °C), extraction time (10-30 min), and solid:liquid ratio (SLR) (1:30-2:30 g/mL), on pectin yield. The maximum pectin yield of 6.

Background: Under-utilisation of immunisation services remains a public health challenge. Pharmacists act as facilitators and increasingly as immunisers, yet relatively little robust evidence exists of the impact elicited on patient health outcome and vaccination uptake.

Objective: To evaluate the influence of pharmacist interventions on public vaccination rate.

Ficus deltoidea was known for its potent antioxidant, anti-melanogenic and photoprotective skin barrier activities. These properties are contributed by its biomarkers which are vitexin and isovitexin. This study aims to optimize the yield of methanolic extraction of Ficus deltoidea leaves (EFD) and evaluate their effects on skin barrier function and hydration.

This paper presents a numerical and experimental assessment of a developed adjustable variable stiffness restrainer (AVSR) utilized for short span bridges. This restrainer has the ability to demonstrate multi stiffness capacity in different stages of bridge's superstructure movement to mitigate the severe damage of bridge due to an earthquake. The multi-level stiffness behavior of developed AVSR is achieved by using multiple mechanical springs with different lengths and placed in parallel in proposed design.
