"Evaluating surgical approaches for Rathke's cleft cysts and sellar meningiomas: factors influencing treatment of choice".

This study reviews recent progress in the surgical treatment of Rathke's cleft cysts (RCCs) and Sellar region meningiomas, based on findings from three key studies. RCCs are benign, fluid-filled remnants from pituitary gland development that are usually asymptomatic and found by chance. However, surgical intervention is needed when they become symptomatic or increase in size.
