Background: Gastric cancer (GC) is the third leading cause of cancer death worldwide, and hypothyroidism has been identified as a potential influencing factor. Despite known associations between hypothyroidism and various cancers, the causal link between hypothyroidism and GC and potential mediators of this relationship remains unclear. This study aimed to clarify these relationships using Mendelian randomization (MR).

Measurement properties of assessment tools of Kinesophobia in patients with cardiovascular disease: A systematic review.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the measurement properties and methodological quality of assessment tools for Kinesophobia among patients with cardiovascular disease and provide a reference for healthcare professionals in selecting high-quality assessment tools.

Methods: A systematic search was performed on specific databases: Embase, the Cochrane Library, PubMed, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang database, China Biological Medicine disc, CINAHL, and China Science and Technology Journal Database, from inception to April 1, 2023. The researchers retrieved studies on the measurement attributes of the exercise fear scale in patients with cardiovascular diseases.

Altered hippocampal subfield volumes in major depressive disorder with and without anhedonia.

Background: Previous neuroimaging findings have demonstrated the association between anhedonia and the hippocampus. However, few studies have focused on the structural changes in the hippocampus in major depressive disorder (MDD) patients with anhedonia. Meanwhile, considering that multiple and functionally specialized subfields of the hippocampus have their own signatures, the present study aimed to investigate the volumetric alterations of the hippocampus as well as its subfields in MDD patients with and without anhedonia.
