This study aimed to identify the presence of gastrointestinal nematode populations resistant to albendazole, levamisole, and ivermectin in six farms located in three regions of Jordan (Irbid, Mafraq, and Ma'an). Infected sheep (40 per farm) with at least 100 eggs per gram were randomly divided into four groups (10 animals per group). Three groups were treated with ivermectin, albendazole, or levamisole while the fourth group was used as a negative control group.

To overcome this detection problem, adoptive transfer of a cohort of T cells purified from T cell receptor (TCR) transgenic donors has been extensively used but is not readily available for emerging pathogens. Constructing TCR transgenic mice from T cell hybridomas is a labor-intensive and sometimes erratic process, since the best clones are selected based on antigen-induced CD69 upregulation or IL-2 production in vitro, and TCR chains are polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-cloned into expression vectors.

Background And Aims: Pancreatic endotherapy (PET) offers a treatment option for adverse events of chronic pancreatitis (CP) such as pancreatic duct (PD) strictures, stones, and pseudocysts. Previous studies have primarily focused on how PET affects pain, so the primary aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of PET on quality of life.
Methods: This single-center prospective study assessed quality of life before the initiation of endotherapy using a validated CP-specific quality of life instrument.

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) stresses the importance of worldwide vaccine coverage of coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) vaccination. This study fills a critical gap in the literature by providing empirical evidence on the factors influencing COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and inequity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This study investigated the determinants of psychological antecedents and other factors behind COVID-19 vaccination and their role in vaccine coverage in MENA.

Design: A descriptive correlational study.
Method: This study, implemented from January 2024 to March 2024, involved 300 primigravidae.
Background: Building nursing process competency among beginner nurses is a pivotal need in contemporary, complex, fast-paced nursing practice. However, transitioning from the educational phase to practicing as a nurse can be a significant adjustment. New practitioners often experience a period of shock, which may present challenges in developing nurse competency.

Overexpression and mutations in these tyrosine kinases cause a variety of malignancies, including lung cancer. The current study addresses the suppression of inactive and mutant variants of the EGFR target site via two primary proposals: (1) To prevent the formation of its mutant form by inhibiting inactive EGFR.

Particularly in the lung, GM-CSF plays an important homeostatic role in the development and maintenance of alveolar macrophages, and is therefore considered to play a role in respiratory virus infections such as influenza and SARS-CoV-2, although the benefits of GM-CSF treatment in clinical studies remain inconclusive. To address this, we tested inhaled GM-CSF treatment in the Pneumonia Virus of Mice (PVM) mouse model.

In total, 934 patients who were not already prescribed a SGLT2i were hospitalised with heart failure, 77 (8%) were initiated on a SGLT2i a median of five (3-8.5) days after admission and two (0.

One of the main secretory/excretory molecules from schistosome eggs is the glycosylated T2-RNAse Omega-1 (ω1). We hypothesized that ω1 induces protection against AAI during infection.

IL-2 family cytokines play a key role in the differentiation, homeostasis, and effector function of innate and adaptive lymphocytes.
Objective: IL-9 and IL-21 boost activation and proliferation of T2 and ILC2s, but the relative importance and potential synergism between these γ common chain cytokines are currently unknown.
Neosporosis is a proven disease of farm animals and dogs caused by Neospora caninum. This cross-sectional study investigates N. caninum prevalence and seroprevalence among 268 dogs.

Sensitivity is measured as perceptual responses to stimuli of varying intensity. Contrary to traditional sensitivity monitoring instruments, smartphones are uniquely suited for remote assessment and have shown to deliver highly calibrated stimuli along a broad spectrum of intensity, which may improve test reliability.

Visfatin, an adipokine that is significantly expressed in visceral fat and is a marker of endothelial dysfunction in chronic kidney disease, has multiple proinflammatory actions. We aimed to evaluate the state of serum visfatin in SLE patients and to detect its possible correlation with the disease's activity and effects on the kidney affection.

Appropriate emotional support equips them to overcome the complexities and difficulties inherent in patient care. This support cultivates resilience and self-awareness, enabling students to manage their emotions effectively and establish meaningful connections and caring with their patients.

The recent coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic alone claimed the lives of over 6 million people around the globe. It is therefore crucial to understand how the immune system responds to these threats and how respiratory infection can be controlled and constrained.

The prevalence of M. tuberculosis strains that are multiple and extensive-drug resistant represents a significant barrier to TB eradication.

The key cellular events leading to such long-term tolerance remain to be fully elucidated. We administered prophylactic SLIT in a mouse model of house dust mite (HDM)-driven allergic asthma.
