Cytoreductive surgery (CRS) is effective for colorectal cancer peritoneal metastases (CRPM) at increasing overall survival (OS) compared to systemic anticancer treatment (SACT) alone. The addition of Oxaliplatin heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) has been shown in a randomized controlled trial to result in increased complications without significant OS benefit. This study evaluates outcomes for CRPM patients undergoing CRS+HIPEC with Oxaliplatin (Ox) 368mg/m (30 min), versus Mitomycin C (MMC) 35mg/m (90min).

This study aims to quantify the risk of developing PMP from pTis and pT3 LAMNs.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective analysis of a prospectively collected database identified LAMN patients referred to a specialist centre from 2004 to 2019.
Treatment guidelines provided by PRODIGE-7 recommend perioperative systemic chemotherapy before cytoreductive surgery (CRS) for colorectal cancer peritoneal metastases (CRPM). Toxicity with multimodal treatment needs to be better defined. Chemotherapy response and impact on survival have not been reported.

Some of these patients will receive systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) in the neoadjuvant and adjuvant settings. The majority of patients, usually with locally advanced or metastatic disease, will receive SACT with palliative intent.

Materials And Methods: DLD-1 and SW620 cells were treated with tissue factor (0, 50, 100 and 500 pg/mL ± 10 μg/mL 10H10 [anti-tissue factor antibody]), thrombin (0.
Background: Awareness of the potential global overtreatment of patients with appendiceal neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) of 1-2 cm in size by performing oncological resections is increasing, but the rarity of this tumour has impeded clear recommendations to date. We aimed to assess the malignant potential of appendiceal NETs of 1-2 cm in size in patients with or without right-sided hemicolectomy.
Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, we pooled data from 40 hospitals in 15 European countries for patients of any age and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status with a histopathologically confirmed appendiceal NET of 1-2 cm in size who had a complete resection of the primary tumour between Jan 1, 2000, and Dec 31, 2010.
Introduction: Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC) is an established treatment of Colorectal Peritoneal Metastases (CRPM). This study aims to determine the timing and patterns of recurrent disease on imaging following complete CRS/HIPEC.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of a national peritoneal tumour service database identified CRPM patients with complete CRS/HIPEC(CC0) from 2005 to-2018.
The incidence of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) is increasing, especially for patients with early stages and grade 1 tumours. Current evidence also shows increased prevalence, probably reflecting earlier stage diagnosis and improvement of treatment options. Definition of adequate postsurgical follow-up for NENs is a current challenge.

There are ongoing studies focused on targeting CSCs via anti-TF treatment, for breast and lung cancer therapy. Herein, the aim was to determine whether targeting TF could have an anti-CSC therapeutic role in colorectal cancer (CRC).
