Introduction: The Parasitology-Mycology Laboratory's analytical process involves three stages: pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical. Our focus is on the pre-analytical phase (PAP). This study addresses managing PAP non-conformities at Mohammed VI University Hospital in Oujda, aligning with quality standards like ISO 15189 and GBEA and aiming to detect and resolve deviations.

Results from this survey are used as input to identify weaknesses in the system with the intention of providing appropriate intervention. Here, we report the results of the quality improvement project completed in an acute healthcare facility.

Moreover, molecular variation in pungency among high, medium and mild/not pungent Capsicum spp.

Common Buckwheat and Tatary Buckwheat are the two main cultivated species used as food. It is the only grain crop possessing rutin, an important metabolite with high nutraceutical potential.

Remarkable to these BPs lies in their potential health benefiting biological activities to serve as nutraceuticals or a lead addition to the development of functional foods. The biological activities of BPs vary depending on the sequence as well as amino acid composition.

Selenium (Se) seed priming is a recent approach to mitigate the plant's mineral deficiency stress. Although not an essential element, Se has beneficial effects on the plants in terms of growth, quality, yield and plant defense system thus, enhancing plant tolerance to mineral deficiency.

All the plant parts of buckwheat possess various metabolites, such as rutin, quercetin, vitexin etc. The high content of rutin in this pseudo cereal crop strongly adapts it to grow under adverse environments.

In spite of having great importance, this crop is under the threat of extinction due to loss of habitat and lack of awareness.

It is considered difficult to reconcile with HD wards' routine; fear of underdialysis and increasing mortality are additional concerns. The aim of this study was to evaluate mortality, morbidity, and costs in a large HD ward where iHD is the standard of HD start.

Overall, the growth and productivity of crops at a global level is now thought to be an issue that is more severe and arises more frequently due to climatic change-induced drought stress. Among the major crops, rice is a frontline staple cereal crop of the developing world and is critical to sustaining populations on a daily basis.

Design optimization for cementless hip prosthesis signifies one of the key topics of research to improve its performances. However, majority of the studies have not considered the presence of uncertainties while it has been shown that a deterministic optimization leads to an unreliable design. In this paper, a multi-objective reliability-based design optimization (MORBDO) procedure is proposed for cementless hip prosthesis design.

The SWCNT thin films (~250 nm) are prepared by a simple and cost effective method of spin-coating technology. Nanoindentation test with a Berkovich indenter is used to determine the hardness and elastic modulus of the SWCNT thin film.

However, there is a paucity of published data from which to compare the prevalence of environmental risk factors for esophageal cancer between Uzbek-Turkmen and other ethnic groups. Thus, we investigated the prevalence of environmental risk factors associated with esophageal cancer in the Northern part of Afghanistan, focusing on ethnicity differences.

Bone marrow brings stem cells and growth factors contained in the platelets, favorable for bone growth. Adjunction of concentrated bone marrow should create better conditions and may increase bone growth.

Rat type II cells were cultured in completely defined serum-free medium (MDSF) or MDSF supplemented with EGF. The addition of EGF from either day 0 (chronic) or day 4 (subacute) resulted in significant increases in Rt and short-circuit current (ISC) on day 5.

Serum contains a number of polypeptide growth factors, hormones, and soluble matrix components and may influence the state of differentiation of epithelial cells in general and of alveolar epithelial cells (AEC) in particular. To evaluate the influence of sera on the transition from the type II toward the type I cell phenotype, we compared the effects of newborn bovine serum (NBS) and rat serum (RS) on morphologic changes and expression of a type I cell-specific epitope in AEC monolayers with time in primary culture. Rat type II AEC were harvested and cultured in defined serum-free medium (MDSF), MDSF + RS (5%), or MDSF + NBS (10%).
