Transdermal microneedles (MNs) have emerged as a powerful new technique for medicine and drug delivery. MNs are highly bioavailable, biocompatible, and non-invasive drug delivery systems. Catalase is one of the antioxidant enzymes that decomposes hydrogen peroxide to overcome oxidative damage.

Efficacy of Intravenous Iron Infusion in Gestational Iron Deficiency Anemia in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, During 2018-2019: A Retrospective Study.

Objective: The objective is to investigate the effectiveness of intravenous (IV) iron infusion in increasing hemoglobin levels in gestational iron deficiency anemia (GIDA) patients in a tertiary-care hospital in Dubai emirate, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study of GIDA patients who were exposed to IV iron infusion supplementation. Study data of 40 cases aged 25-45 in a tertiary-care hospital in the UAE between 2018 and 2019 were analyzed.
