Previous research suggested that regular physical activity (PA) is beneficial in both prevention and treatment of physical and mental conditions. Danish general practitioners' (GPs) have an ideal position to motivate inactive patients to increase their PA. Social prescribing (SP) enables GPs and other healthcare professionals in primary care to link patients to community-based activities of support provided by the community and the voluntary sector.

The treatment for coeliac disease (CD) is a gluten-free diet (GFD), which impacts the health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The aim of the study was to develop the Gluten-Free Diet Perceived Competence Scale (GFD-PCS): a short and precise CD-specific patient-reported outcome measure. The GFD-PCS was developed from the scales 'Perceived Competence (Maintaining a Healthy Diet)' and 'Perceived Competence for Diabetes'.
