Methods: We identified 214 urology offices affiliated with private equity firms that were geographically matched with 231 non-private equity affiliated urology offices. Background: With the development of the COVID-19 pandemic, elective foot and ankle surgeries were delayed throughout the United States to divert health care resources and limit exposure. Little is known about the impact of COVID-19 on patient's willingness to proceed with elective procedures once restrictions are lifted and factors contributing to such decision.

Methods: Patients across 6 US orthopedic institutions who had their elective foot and ankle surgeries cancelled secondary to the pandemic were given a questionnaire.

A search for lepton-flavor-violating Z→eτ and Z→μτ decays with pp collision data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. This analysis uses 139  fb^{-1} of Run 2 pp collisions at sqrt[s]=13  TeV and is combined with the results of a similar ATLAS search in the final state in which the τ lepton decays hadronically, using the same data set as well as Run 1 data. The addition of leptonically decaying τ leptons significantly improves the sensitivity reach for Z→ℓτ decays.

This study aimed to produce functionalized and biocompatible silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using cellular extracts of endophytic Fusarium oxysporum-NFW16 isolated from Taxus fauna and evaluate its antibacterial potential. The present work was conceptualized to determine the potential protective effects of curcumin on arsenic-induced kidney damage in male albino rat model. Thirty six male albino rats were selected, weighed about 175±10g and classified into four groups (9 rats in each group) such as C group (control with basal diet), Cur group (curcumin 200mg/kg body weight), AI group (arsenic-induced 5mg/kg body weight) and AI + Cur group (arsenic 5mg/kg+curcumin 200mg/kg body weight), respectively. Arsenic and curcumin were offered through the gavage method once daily with basal diet.
