In this study, it was aimed to assess the microstructural changes in the main central auditory pathway in cases with subjective tinnitus. In total, 101 subjects (52 cases with bilateral subjective non-pulsatile tinnitus and 49 healthy cases as the control group) were included in the study. Participants underwent pure tone audiogram and Diffusion Tensor Imaging-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DTI-MRI) examination with a 3 Tesla MRI device.

As the nonlinear nature of such complex processes complicates the creation of exact analytical models, it is appropriate to use artificial intelligence tools in this modelling. The present study was implemented to develop a highly efficient artificial neural network model, optimised using a novel training algorithm with fast parallel computing to predict the results of rheological tests of rubber blends performed under different conditions.

Such approaches should be able to provide actionable insights to decision makers constrained by factors such as population growth, land scarcity, and loss of functionality of wastewater treatment plants. The framework in this study proposes a hybrid fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) model consisting of the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and the TODIM (an acronym in Portuguese of interactive and multi-criteria decision-making) by using alpha cut series which takes into account the risk aversion of decision makers (DMs) to overcome uncertainties of environmental conditions.

MCDA can support pricing and reimbursement decisions on the macro level, which is of great importance especially in countries with more limited resources.
Objectives: The aim of this systematic review was to facilitate the development of future MCDA frameworks, by proposing a set of criteria focusing on the purchasing decisions of single-source innovative pharmaceuticals in upper middle-income countries.
Medical errors negatively affect patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare establishments. Therefore, all healthcare service members should be attentive to medical errors. Research has revealed that most medical errors are caused by the system, rather than individuals.

Background: This paper presents a generic Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) model for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) decision-making, which can be applied to a wide range of HTA studies, regardless of the healthcare technology type under consideration.
Methods: The HTA Core Model of EUnetHTA was chosen as a basis for the development of the MCDA model because of its common acceptance among European Union countries. Validation of MCDA4HTA was carried out by an application with the HTA study group of the Turkish Ministry of Health.

Decision making is an important procedure for every organization. The procedure is particularly challenging for complicated multi-criteria problems. Selection of dialyser flux is one of the decisions routinely made for haemodialysis treatment provided for chronic kidney failure patients.

The presented solution focuses on explaining the mechanical behavior of materials after cutting by abrasive waterjet technology (AWJ), especially from the point of view of generated surface topography. AWJ is a flexible tool accurately responding to the mechanical resistance of the material according to the accurately determined shape and roughness of machined surfaces.
