The six-year prevalence of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Erzurum, Turkey.

Background Objectives: Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever disease (CCHF) is a potentially deadly viral disease and Turkey is the country in which the disease is seen the most. The purpose of this study is to estimate the frequency and case fatality ratio (CFR) of CCHF disease in Erzurum/Turkey between years 2015-2021.

Methods: The CCHF positivity in patients was detected on serum samples via RT-PCR method with RNA detection.

Evaluation of a New and Rapid Serologic Test for Detecting Brucellosis: Brucella Coombs Gel Test.

Background: Many serological tests have been used for the diagnosis of human brucellosis. A new serological method is identified as Brucella Coombs gel test based on the principle of centrifugation gel system similar to the gel system used in blood group determination. In this system, if Brucella antibodies were present in the serum, antigen and antibody would remain as a pink complex on the gel.
