Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) encompasses rare variants like chromophobe hepatocellular carcinoma (CHCC) characterized by distinct histological features and molecular profiles.

Case Report: A 56-year-old male with chronic hepatitis C, presenting pain in the right hypochondrium. Imaging revealed a solitary liver lesion, subsequently resected and histologically diagnosed as HCC.

Tunisian Adolescents at CHR for Psychosis: A Pilot Study of Cognitive Remediation in a LMIC.

Background: Clinical high risk (CHR) youth are known to exhibit cognitive deficits at similar levels to their more severally ill counter parts. A comparative study of the effects of advanced platelet-rich fibrin and resorbable collagen membrane in the treatment of gingival recession: a split-mouth, randomized clinical trial.

Aim: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of advanced platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF) combined with the pinhole surgical technique (PST) for enhancing root coverage (RC) in individuals with Miller class I or II gingival recessions (GR). Additionally, it compared the clinical effect of A-PRF and resorbable collagen membrane (RCM).

Materials And Methods: A total of 18 patients, encompassing 36 treatment sides of 18 Miller class I or II, were randomly assigned to the PST + A-PRF side (18 sides) and the PST + RCM side (18 sides).

One Health is increasingly recognized as an optimal approach to address the global risk of health threats originating at the human, animal, and ecosystem interface, and their impact. Qatar has successfully practiced One Health approach for investigation and surveillance of zoonotic diseases such as MERS-CoV, and other health threats. However, the current gaps at institution and policy level hinder the sustainment of One Health.

Goblet cell adenocarcinoma of the ascending colon: An underrecognized diagnostic pitfall.

Goblet cell adenocarcinomas (GCA) are infrequent neoplasms of the digestive system that exhibit both mucinous and neuroendocrine differentiation. They predominate in the appendix and rarely involve the colon. Herein, the authors report a case of GCA involving the ascending colon in a 60-year-old woman who presented with severe anemia.

Assessment of theory of mind in Tunisian verbal children with autism spectrum disorder.

The present study examined performance in Theory of Mind (ToM) in a group of 31 Arabic-speaking verbal children (7-12 years-old) with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in comparison with neurotypical controls (NT) matched for age and for cognitive abilities. An innovative task in a digital format named "The Tunisian Social Situations Instrument" (TSSI) was used and allowed us to study four different subdomains of ToM: attribution of intention and epistemic ToM (cognitive ToM), affective ToM, and detection of faux pas (advanced ToM). Our study showed impairments in ToM in children with ASD, similar to those reported in the literature.

Introduction: Desmoid-type fibromatosis, also known as desmoid tumors, are rare fibroblastic neoplasms that account for less than 3% of all soft tissue tumors. Although they are benign neoplasms without metastatic potential, they are known to be locally aggressive and may invade adjacent structures leading to fatal complications.
