Impact of solar powered mini water systems on WASH service delivery among schools in Pader district, Uganda.

Introduction: In Pader district, the pupil-to-stance ratio was 76:1 in 2019, far higher than the national target of 40:1 and hand washing coverage was 21%. AMREF Health Africa end-line implemented a Solar for inclusive WASH services project between February 2021 and November 2023. Therefore, this study aimed to compare WASH service delivery indicators at the baseline and endline of implementing the Solar for Inclusive WASH services project.

Evaluation of a WASH/MNCH targeted primary health care program in Uganda; a mixed methods study.

Background: Evidence on the impact of Maternal Newborn and child health (MNCH) and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions on skilled birth attendance (SBA) and neonatal sepsis remains unclear. We conducted this study in Amuru district to generate evidence.
