This study aims to verify the accuracy of item 10 on the energy level of the Short-Form Health Survey (SF-12) in an item screening according to Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ) results, providing a measure of hyper-energy. Regression techniques were employed in a dataset comprising 4093 records of respondents to test both linear and nonlinear relationships between predictor and outcome variables (energy level and symptoms considered in the MDQ). We examined the relationship of energy level with cases identified using MDQ with a cut-off of 7.

National research teams identified policies and strategies related to promoting healthy diets and restricting unhealthy consumption, including national legislation, development plans and strategies and health sector-related policies and plans. We identified relevant text in relation to the issuing agency, overarching aims, goals, targets and timeframes, specific policy measures and actions, accountability systems, budgets, responsiveness to inequitable vulnerabilities across population groups (including gender) and human rights.

A total of 8007 adults aged 35-70 years were included in the study. Blood pressure (BP) measurements were taken by physicians with a mercury sphygmomanometer, and standard interviewing procedures were used to record medical history, socio-demographic and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors.

Methods: A total of 96 hemodialysis (HD) patients infected with HCV were classified into two groups: G1 included 73 patients with persistently positive HCV-RNA and G2 included 23 HD patients who have spontaneously eliminated the virus. The control group consisted of 170 healthy blood donors.
Background: Type 2 of diabetes is the most common metabolic disorder and results from the interaction between genetic and environmental factors. Insulin receptor substrate-2 (IRS-2), one of the major substrates of the insulin receptor, has a crucial role in insulin signalling and in beta cell development and survival. While several polymorphisms have been identified in the IRS-2 gene, the association of the Gly1057Asp polymorphism with type 2 diabetes has been studied in European and Chinese populations, but the results have been inconsistent.

Method: A randomly selected sample included 1837 adults 40-70 years.
Objective: To assess the Cardiovascular risk factors trend in community based surveys.
Method: Two population surveys were conducted in 1996-97 and 2000-01 in the Ariana region among 7608 adults 35-70 years aged. The surveys were based on: 1--a questionnary, 2--an anthropometrical and physical examination, 3--a biological investigation, and 4--an ECG registration for the second cohort.
The general medicine remains a same survey subject in countries where the debate began since several years. We have led an investigation by questionnaire close to 50 chosen hospitalo-academic physicians by pull to the fate on the list of teachers of the faculty of medicine of Tunis. The majority of our investigated (90%) consider that the physician general practitioner is the physician of the individual in its totality, the counselor and the family's confidant.
