Objectives: This paper aims to investigate the application of intraoral scanning and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) registration implant robot in dental implant surgery.
Methods: The data of 40 cases with dental defect of robot-assisted implantation from November 2023 to May 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. Before the operation, the intraoral scan data and CBCT data of the positioning markers were automatically fused with the initial CBCT images, and the registration error was calculated.
The incidence of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) has been rising recently. LSCC is one of the most prevalent malignant tumors of the head and neck. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether tripartite motif containing 71 (TRIM71) could serve as a molecular target for the treatment of LSCC.

However, the generation selectivity and efficiency of HVMO are often constrained by stringent requirements for catalyst adsorption sites and electron transfer efficiency. In this study, a single-atom catalyst, Cu/CNP&S, is synthesized featuring multiple types (planar/axial) of heteroatom coordination via an H-bond-assisted self-assembly strategy.

Herein, a series of YO-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) ceramics are synthesized using solid-state sintering, followed by an investigation into their phase evolution, grain size, dielectric constant, and breaking field. As the YO content increases from 0 wt% to 4 wt%, the as-grown YSZ ceramics undergo a distinct phase transformation, transitioning from monoclinic to monoclinic + tetragonal and further to monoclinic + tetragonal + cubic, before finally returning to monoclinic + cubic.

We initially observed elevated lncRNA FLJ20021 levels in cisplatin-resistant LC cells (Hep-2/R). To explore its function, we transfected lncRNA FLJ20021 and cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (CDK1) into Hep-2/R cells, assessing their impact on cisplatin sensitivity and PANoptosis.

This study explored the correlation between acoustic voice analysis (objective measure) and Voice Handicap Index (VHI, a self-assessment tool). One hundred and forty patients who had thyroid surgery with or without postoperative unilateral vocal cord paralysis (PVCP and NPVCP) were included.

As surgical robots can perform needle placement with a high level of accuracy, our team developed a fully automatic radioactive seed placement robot, and this study aimed to evaluate the accuracy and feasibility of fully automatic radioactive seed placement for the treatment of tumours in the skull base.
Methods: A fully automatic radioactive seed placement robot was established, and 4 phantoms of skull base tumours were built for experimental validation.
Background: This study was to explore the effectiveness of the ABCLOVE exercise on school-aged children with vocal nodules after the treatment of budesonide.
Methods: Eighty-six school-aged children with vocal nodules were divided into control and ABCLOVE therapy groups. Subjective voice assessment and dysphonia severity index (DSI) assessment were performed before and after the 3-month of therapy.
Benign central airway stenosis poses a significant challenge to respiratory and thoracic surgeons due to the high recurrence rate associated with current treatment methods, causing severe breathing difficulties and potentially life-threatening complications. This article aims to investigate the therapeutic efficacy and prospects of using coblation in the management of benign central airway stenosis in adults. Moreover, the pathogenesis of benign central airway stenosis was deeply explored to provide better guidance for future clinical treatments.

The study focuses on designing and investigating MAB phase compounds of MAlB (M = Cr, Mo, W). We conduct a comprehensive assessment of the stability, phononic, electronic, elastic, and optical properties of CrAlB, MoAlB, and WAlB.

Heterogeneous integration methods such as chiplet technology can significantly reduce unnecessary data movement; however, they fail to address the fundamental issue of the substantial time and energy overheads resulting from the physical separation of computing and sensory components. Brain-inspired in-sensor neuromorphic computing (ISNC) has plenty of room for such data-intensive applications.

This study aimed to investigate the function of miR-5189-3p in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) and explore its underlying mechanisms. qRT-PCR was designed to determine the expression levels of miR-5189-3p and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A2 (EIF5A2), while CCK-8 assay was performed to measure the effects of miR-5189-3p on cell proliferation.

Methods: The region of interest was annotated at the edge of the primary tumor on enhanced CT images from 140 patients with OSCC and obtained radiomic features. Ribonucleic acid (RNA) sequencing was performed on pathological sections from 20 patients.
Objective: We aimed to develop a 5-year overall survival prediction model for patients with oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma based on machine learning methods.
Subjects And Methods: The data were obtained from electronic medical records of 224 OTSCC patients at the PLA General Hospital. A five-year overall survival prediction model was constructed using logistic regression, Support Vector Machines, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Extreme Gradient Boosting, and Light Gradient Boosting Machine.
Introduction: Tumor exosome-derived miRNAs play important roles in the human laryngocarcinoma. However, it is still unknown if exosome miR-552 is involved in the laryngocarcinoma. The aim of the current study was to explore exosome miR-552's role in laryngocarcinoma and its underlying mechanisms.

Sometimes patient cannot even realize that they have oral problems until they feel obvious pain. Deep convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have been widely adopted for medical image analysis and management and have yielded some progress in stomatology while the endoscopes are cheap and easily used in daily life for families or other non-medical situations.

While, initially, they have been proposed as means to control classical optical fields, they are now emerging as nanoscale sources of quantum light, in particular of entangled photons with versatile properties. Geometric resonances in metasurfaces have been recently used to engineer the frequency spectrum of entangled photons, but the emission directivity was so far less studied.

We profiled the transcriptomes of 49,948 cells from paracarcinoma and carcinoma tissues of three patients using single-cell RNA sequencing. Three main types of the epithelial cells were identified into myoepithelial-like cells, intercalated duct-like cells, and duct-like cells by marker genes.

Resonant metasurfaces provide a unique platform for enhancing multiwave nonlinear interactions. However, the difficulties over mode matching and material transparency place significant challenges in the enhancement of these multiwave processes. Here we demonstrate efficient nonlinear sum-frequency generation (SFG) in multiresonant GaP metasurfaces based on guided-wave bound-state in the continuum resonances.
