Following the publication of this paper, an interested reader drew the authors' attention to the fact that several of the tumour images shown in Fig. 6B were strikingly similar to images that had appeared in another paper by different authors published at around the same time. The authors also admitted that the in vivo experiments reported in this study had been performed by a third party.

An increasing number of studies have indicated that the dysregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs/miR) is closely associated with non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) development and progression by acting as tumor suppressors or oncogenes. Therefore, an in‑depth understanding of the biological roles of miRNAs in NSCLC may provide novel therapeutic methods for the treatment of patients with this disease. In the present study, reverse transcription‑quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect miR‑577 expression in NSCLC tissues and cell lines.

This study investigated the role of miR-214 in modulating proliferation and invasion of human colon cancer SW620 cells. Fifty-five patients with colon cancer who were treated in China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University from March 2014 to March 2015 were enrolled into this study. Their cancer and corresponding paracancerous tissues were collected and the expression levels of miR-214 were determined by RT-qPCR.

Long intergenic non‑protein coding RNA 152 (LINC00152, also known as cytoskeleton regulator RNA) is reportedly involved in the development and progression of various types of human malignancy. However, the functional role of LINC00152 in multiple myeloma (MM) and the underlying molecular mechanisms have remained elusive. The present study aimed to investigate the role of LINC00152 in the genesis of MM and the potential molecular mechanisms.

Rosmarinic acid (RA) is an active component of a traditional Chinese herbal medicine. Previously, we reported that RA exerted a strong anti-inflammatory effect in a mouse acute lung injury model. Therefore, we hypothesized that RA might also have potential therapeutic effects in a murine model of asthma.

Rosmarinic acid (RA) has numerous pharmacologic effects, including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects. This study aimed to evaluate the preventive activity of RA in a murine model of asthma and to investigate its possible molecular mechanisms. Female BALB/c mice sensitized and challenged with ovalbumin (Ova) were pretreated with RA (5, 10 or 20 mg/kg) at 1 h before Ova challenge.

Migration appeared in the interfaces of nitrate ester plasticized polyether (NEPE) based propellant/hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) based liner/ethylene propylene terpolymer (EPDM) based insulation was studied by aging at different temperatures. The migration components were extracted with solvent and determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The migration occurred within 1mm to the interfaces, and the apparent migration activation energy (Ea) of nitroglycerin (NG), 1,2,4-butanetriol trinitrate (BTTN) and a kind of aniline stabilizer AD in propellant, liner and insulation was calculated respectively on the basis of HPLC data.
