This study aimed to compare chemical compositions, antioxidant activities, and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities of coffee flowers (ACF) and coffee leaves (ACL) with green coffee beans (ACGB) of L. The chemical compositions were determined by employing high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy (HPLC-MS) and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) techniques. Antioxidant effects of the components were evaluated using DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging assays, and the ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay.

Eight new generation amide insecticide residues analysis by multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNs) cleanup, combined with QuEChERS and ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry has been developed and successfully applied in complex matrix such as orange, celery, onion, litchi, mango, shallot, chives, avocado, garlic. The matric effect of MWCNs is optimized and compared with ordinary cleanup materials. The results show that the performance of MWCNs is fine and effectively reduce matrix interference.

A method was developed for the determination of six amide herbicides, such as acetochlor, alachlor, metolachlor, metazachlor, butachlor and pretilachlor, by QuEChERS-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The soil samples were extracted by 10 mL acetonitrile, 10 mL deionized water and 4 g sodium chloride, then purified with 50 mg -propyl ethylenediamine (PSA), 50 mg C18, 10 mg graphitized carbon black (GCB) and 100 mg MgSO. Low-polar silica capillary column HP-5MS was used.

Diterpenoid alkaloids, named vilmorines A-D, in addition to fifteen known alkaloids, were isolated from roots of Aconitum vilmorinianum. Their structures were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses. Antibacterial and antioxidant studies on isolated compounds were also carried out.

The tubers of Bletilla formosana were fermented with eight plant pathogen fungi, respectively, and antioxidant activities and total phenolic content (TPC) of the crude extracts of fermented products and non-fermented products were investigated. The antioxidant activities were evaluated in three different test systems [DPPH, ABTS radical-scavenging activity, and ferric reducing-antioxidant power (FRAP)]. It was found that the extract of Helminthosporium maydis fermented B.

Three new C₁₉-diterpenoid alkaloids, ducloudines C (1), D (2), and E (3), were isolated from the roots of Aconitum duclouxii. Their structures were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses. Ducloudine C (1) is the first aconitine-type C₁₉-diterpenoid alkaloid with a C=O group at C-3 and a C=C bond between C-1 and C-2.
