In this study successfully prepared AG@MXene/CC composite electrodes by employing a thermosolvation-ultrasonication technique combined with an impregnation method. This approach uniformly dispersed MXene, known for its high electrochemical properties, onto the surface of carbon cloth (CC) through biomass-derived AG hydrogels featuring a three-dimensional network structure. The hydrogen bonding and van der Waals forces between AG and MXene were harnessed to enhance material interactions, thereby improving electron transfer efficiency and electrocatalytic activity.

This study proposes a novel and efficient Ag quantum dots (QDs)/MoSe@two-dimensional transition metal carbide/nitride (MXene)/copper foam (CF) composite electrode to address the challenge of electrocatalytic degradation of antibiotics in water. The electrode formed a unique electron donor-acceptor system by loading Ag QDs and heterostructured nanosheets on CF, significantly facilitating charge transfer and segregation at the interface. The catalytically active sites at the edges and defective locations of MoSe in conjunction with the two-dimensional MXene structure, which formed an efficient electron transfer channel, promoted the electron transfer from the interior to the surface and accelerated the hydrogen adsorption and reduction reactions.

In this study, we successfully prepared palladium/agarose/copper foam (Pd/AG/CF) composite electrodes by utilizing the three-dimensional network structure agarose (AG), a green material derived from biomass, and homogeneously immobilizing palladium (Pd) atoms on a copper foam (CF) substrate through a facile route. The electrode showed excellent performance in the electrocatalytic degradation of doxycycline (DOX), with a high DOX degradation rate of 92.19 % in 60 min.

In photo-Fenton technology, the narrower pH range limits its practical application for antibiotic wastewater remediation. Therefore, in this study, a Z-scheme heterojunction photo-Fenton catalyst was constructed by Fe-doped graphite-phase carbon nitride in combination with bismuth molybdate for the degradation of typical antibiotics. Fe doping can shorten the band gap and increase visible-light absorption.

The cardiotoxicity of arsenic trioxide (ATO) limits its clinical application in cancer treatment. Evidences suggest that sorbus has antioxidant activity and its consumption has been linked with improved cardioprotection. In this study, we investigated the cardio-protective effect and mechanisms of Sorbus pohuashanensis (Hante) Hedl.

In this study, an efficient purification method for the polyphenols of Pinus koraiensis pinecone (PPP) has been developed. AB-8 resin was verified to offer good adsorption and desorption ratio for PPP. Response surface methodology (RSM) indicated that the optimized purification parameters for PPP were 1.

The aim of this study was to investigate the synergistic antioxidant potential and protective effect of grape seed procyanidins (GSP) in combination with Auricularia auricular-judae polysaccharides (AAP IV) on radiation injury in splenocytes. Rat splenocyte irradiation resulted in significantly higher apoptosis rate, malondialdehyde (MDA) (p < 0.005), reactive oxygen species (ROS) (p < 0.
