Cambodia is rich in medicinal plant resources. One hundred and thirty-three medicinal material samples, including the hole herb, root, stem/branch, leaf, flower, fruit, seed, and resin, were collected from the Orussey Herbal Market in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and then authenticated by ITS and psbA-trnH. A total of 46 samples were identified based on ITS sequences, belonging to 24 families, 40 genera, and 42 species.

This paper studies the target-tracking problem of underactuated surface vessels with model uncertainties and external unknown disturbances. A composite robust adaptive self-structuring neural-network-bounded controller is proposed to improve system performance and avoid input saturation. An extended state observer is proposed to estimate the uncertain nonlinear term, including the unknown velocity of the tracking target, when only the measurement values of the line-of-sight range and angle can be obtained.

A strategy of lattice-reversible binary intermetallic compounds of metallic elements is proposed for applications in flexible lithium-ion battery (LIB) anode with high capacity and cycling stability. First, the use of metallic elements can ensure excellent electronic conductivity and high capacity of the active anode substance. Degeneration of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) is one of the most critical phenotypic changes of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), the leading cause of vision loss in the elderly. Dirigent(DIR) proteins are involved in the biosynthesis of lignin, lignans, and gossypol in plants and respond to biotic and abiotic stresses. Based on the full-length transcriptome of Schisandra chinensis, bioinformatics methods were used to preliminarily identify the DIR gene family and analyze the physico-chemical properties, subcellular localization, conserved motifs, phylogeny, and expression patterns of the proteins. The results showed that a total of 34 DIR genes were screened and the encoded proteins were 156-387 aa.

Interactions between the N-terminal (assembly) domain (NTD), the linker region of the hepatitis B virus (HBV) capsid protein, and the large (L) envelope protein are required for virion formation, which occurs via budding of cytoplasmic mature nucleocapsids (NCs) containing the relaxed circular (RC) DNA genome into an intracellular membrane compartment containing viral envelope proteins. L-capsid interactions also negatively regulate covalently closed circular (CCC) DNA formation, which occurs after RC DNA release from mature NCs and nuclear import. We have now found that L could increase RC DNA in cytoplasmic mature NCs that are destabilized due to mutations in the NTD or the linker, even in those that apparently fail to support secretion of complete virions extracellularly.

This paper reports the fabrication and mechanical properties of macroscale graphene fibers (diameters of 10 to 100 μm with lengths upwards of 2 cm) prepared from a single sheet of single-layer graphene grown chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The breaking strength of these graphene fibers increased with consecutive tensile test measurements on a single fiber, where fiber fragments produced from a prior test exhibited larger breaking strengths. Additionally, we observed an overall reduction of surface folds and wrinkles, and an increase in their alignment parallel to the tensile direction.

An efficient method is proposed for the calculation of the optical force of multiple nanoparticles. In this method, the optical force is calculated by integrating the Maxwell stress tensor (MST) over a closed surface encompassing the nanoparticle.
