Objective: To identify therapeutic protein targets for bladder cancer (BCa) using Mendelian randomization (MR) and assess potential adverse effects of these targets.
Methods: A proteome-wide MR study was conducted to determine causal relationships between plasma proteins and BCa risk. In the discovery stage, the plasma proteins (Exposure) were sourced from the R10 of Finnish database, Olink (619 samples across 2925 proteins) and SomaScan (828 samples across 7596 proteins), and Iceland database.
To observe the effect of Xinfeng Capsules on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) B lymphocytes, inflammatory mediators,FAK/CAPN/PI3K pathway,in order to explore the mechanism of Xinfeng Capsules in improving clinical symptoms of RA.Joint and systemic symptoms of RA patients were observed, and laboratory indicators[hemoglobin (HGB),platelet count (PLT),erythrocyte sedimentation (ESR),immunoglobulin (Ig) G,Ig A,Ig M,rheumatoid factor (RF),anti-cyclic citrulline antibody (CCP-AB),C-reactive protein (CRP)]were detected.ELISA was used to detect serum interleukin (IL)-1β,IL-10,IL-33,chemokine 5 (CCL5),and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).

Purpose: To qualitatively analyze the effect of 3D printed hydroxyapatite-gel (HAP-GEL) scaffold combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) in repairing rabbit skull defect.
Methods: The third generation BMSCs and HUVECs were co-cultured with 3D printed HAP-GEL scaffold to construct tissue engineering bone. The rabbit model of skull defect was established and randomly divided into 4 groups.
Objective: To determine the effectiveness and safety of Xinfeng Capsules (XFC) for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with decreased pulmonary function.
Methods: This was a randomized controlled clinical trial of 80 RA patients. Participants were assigned to the trial group (40 cases) and the control group (40 cases) by block randomization.
Background: Matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-1 degrades type I collagen of the extracellular matrix and also activates protease activated receptor (PAR)-1 to induce angiogenesis. The aims of this study were to evaluate microvessel density (MVD) and the expression of PAR-1 and MMP-1 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) specimens with different patterns of invasion (POI) and to evaluate their association with clinical outcomes.
Methods: Seventy-four surgically obtained oral SCC samples were classified by POI according to hematoxylin-eosin staining.
The aim of this study was to investigate sonic hedgehog (SHH) signaling pathway components (Shh and Gli-1), E-cadherin, and MMP-9 expression in human oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and to evaluate their role in prognosis. Expression of Shh, Gli-1, and MMP-9 was significantly upregulated in 74 OSCC samples compared with non-cancerous tissue samples (Shh IOD: 162.44 ± 29.

Objective: To observe the curative effect of Xinfeng Capsule (XC) in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Methods: Recruited were 80 active RA patients, who were randomly assigned to the normal control group and the treatment group, 40 in each group. All patients received the same routine anti-rheumatic treatment: Methotrexate 10 mg per week; Diclofenac 50 mg when pain was obvious, twice daily.
Background: This study aims to investigate the expression and significance of the αvβ6 integrin, collagen fibres and matrix metalloproteinases (MMP)-3 in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and to analyse the possible regulatory relationships between αvβ6, collagen fibres and MMP-3.
Materials And Methods: A series of 80 patients (mean age 56.4 years) diagnosed with OSCC were enrolled.
Background: Type IV collagen (ColIV) is the most important scaffold for the basement membrane (BM) proteins, and plays an important role in regulating and limiting tumour invasion and metastasis.
Methods: Here, we observed the changes in morphology and distribution of type IV collagen (ColIV) in the basement membrane (BM) surrounding nests of carcinoma in 48 patients with oral tongue squamous cell (OTSCC). We examined the correlation between the expressions of ColIV, MMP-2 and MMP-9 and the prognosis of OTSCC patients.

Objective: To observe the changes of behavior and amino acids in brain tissue of rats with adjuvant arthritis, and effects of Xinfeng Capsule (XFC) on them.
Methods: AA model was induced by complete Freund's adjuvant in rats. Five groups including the normal control group, the model group, the XFC group, the methotrexate (MTX) group and the Tripterygium wilfordii polysaccharide (TPT) group were set up.
