[Studies on chemical constituents and antibacterial activity from n-butanol extract of Sarcandra glabra].

Objective: To study the chemical constituents and the antibacterial activity from n-butanol extract of Sarcandra glabra.

Method: The compounds were isolated by Diaion HP-20, Sephadex LH-20, MCI CHP-20 and silica gel column chromatographic methods. Their structures were identified on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic analysis.
