We report a method for directed -arylation of -aryl pyrazoles with arylboronic acids. Reactions proceeded in the presence of a Co(hfacac) catalyst, CeSO oxidant, and HFIP solvent. Functionalities such as nitro, ester, bromo, and ketone groups were compatible with the reaction conditions.
