In this paper, several graph-based descriptors are applied, including some extended energies, such as Sombor and Banhatti Sombor energies, for the prediction of some important thermodynamic properties of BHC. In fact, strong relationships are observed between such extended energies and many properties that include boiling point, Kovats retention index, formation enthalpy and entropy, octanol-water partition coefficient, and acentric factor. These results evidence that graph-based descriptors can be employed as a rapid and reliable tool for the prediction of thermodynamic properties.

In this article, we present the concept of extended Seidel energy by employing a generalized extended matrix to study various molecular properties, including the Kovats retention index, boiling point, enthalpy of formation, entropy, acentric factor, and octanol-water partition coefficient. Our research broadens the scope of energy matrices in graph theory, with a particular emphasis on Sombor energy, reduced Sombor energy, average Sombor energy, Banhatti Sombor energy and reduced Banhatti Sombor energy. We examined the correlation of these graph-based energy descriptors with the thermodynamic properties of Benzenoid hydrocarbons (BHC), uncovering strong relationships between these indices and different molecular attributes.

Background: Coronary interventions, including percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), have significantly improved management of coronary artery disease by restoration of coronary blood flow to myocardium. However, despite of so many advancements in PCI procedural techniques, there is still a significant and challenging complication known as the "no-reflow" phenomenon exists which worst effect the PPCI outcome.

Methods: It was Cross sectional study conducted at Department of Cardiology, Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar.

Staphylococcus aureus infections are the primary causes of morbidity, and mortality, particularly in immuno-compromised individuals. S. aureus associated infections are acquired from community, as well as hospital settings, and difficult to treat because of the emerging resistance against available antibiotics.

Zinc (Zn) is essential for plants and animals as it plays significant roles in several physiological and biological processes. Its deficiency in soil results in low Zn content food and is one of the major reasons for Zn malnutrition in humans. Biofortification of crops with zinc (Zn) is a viable approach to combat malnutrition, especially in developing countries.

Objective: To determine the safety and outcome of splenic artery(SA) transposition in extra-anatomic hepatic arterial reconstruction (HAR) in living donor liver transplantation(LDLT).

Methods: We retrospectively compared the outcome of the ten liver recipients who underwent HAR with the transposed splenic artery (SA group) with a matched cohort of 40 recipients who underwent HAR with the standard hepatic artery (HA group) between March, 2019 and December, 2020 at liver transplantation department, Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences, Pakistan. The comparison of recipients' and donor demographics, operative and graft characteristics, post-operative labs, Doppler ultrasound(USG) findings, and complications, along with 30-day mortality, and 1-year survival were reported for both groups.

Antimicrobial resistance and tolerance are natural phenomena that arose due to evolutionary adaptation of microorganisms against various xenobiotic agents. These adaptation mechanisms make the current treatment options challenging as it is increasingly difficult to treat a broad range of infections, associated biofilm formation, intracellular and host adapted microbes, as well as persister cells and microbes in protected niches. Therefore, novel strategies are needed to identify the most promising drug targets to overcome the existing hurdles in the treatment of infectious diseases.

Introduction And Importance: The most common reason for live liver donor rejection is ABO incompatibility. With breaching this incompatibility barrier, probably an additional 25%-35% of liver transplantation (LT) procedures would become possible. Also, ABOi-LT can be lifesaving in acute settings.

Clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) represent the latest technological transformation in healthcare for assisting clinicians in complex decision-making. Several CDSSs are proposed to deal with a range of clinical tasks such as disease diagnosis, prescription management, and medication ordering. Although a small number of CDSSs have focused on treatment selection, areas such as medication selection and dosing selection remained under-researched.

Quinoa emerged as an ideal food security crop due to its exceptional nutritive profile and stress enduring potential and also deemed as model plant to study the salt-tolerance mechanisms. However to fill the research gaps of this imperative crop, the present work aimed to study the effect of potassium (K) deficiency either separately or in combination with salinity. First, we investigated the stomatal and physiological based variations in quinoa growth under salinity and K, then series of analytical tools were used with model approach to interpret the stomatal aperture (SA) and photosynthesis (Pn) changes.

Phosphorus (P) is a non-renewable resource which may be depleted within next few decades; hence high P use efficiency is need of time. Plants have evolved an array of adaptive mechanisms to enhance external P acquisition and reprioritize internal utilization under P deficiency. Tissue specific biomass and P allocation patterns may affect the P use efficiency in plants.

Medical students should be able to actively apply clinical reasoning skills to further their interpretative, diagnostic, and treatment skills in a non-obtrusive and scalable way. Case-Based Learning (CBL) approach has been receiving attention in medical education as it is a student-centered teaching methodology that exposes students to real-world scenarios that need to be solved using their reasoning skills and existing theoretical knowledge. In this paper, we propose an interactive CBL System, called iCBLS, which supports the development of collaborative clinical reasoning skills for medical students in an online environment.
