Conventionally, determination of implant position, size and placement depend on pre-surgical diagnostic imaging, which is limited to two-dimensional radiographs and on the guiding acrylic stent which will be usually prepared over the duplicated casts. Guided implant surgery using cone beam computed tomography, virtual treatment planning software and stereolithographic surgical templates has undoubtedly been a major step toward achieving optimal 3-D implant positioning with respect to both anatomical and prosthetic parameters.

Several polishing systems are currently in use for composite restorations, but information on their impact on surface roughness is limited. The present study aimed to determine the surface roughness of class V composite restorations polished using pre-contoured cervical matrices and to compare it with a conventional disc polishing system.

PV Power generation is affected by weather factors such as cloud cover, solar irradiation, temperature, breeze direction and speed, and the amount of rain or snow. As a result, a highly precise PV power predictor is essential to improve security and reliability in the face of financial penalties and ambiguity.

Supramolecular nanostructured based delivery systems are emerging as a meaningful approach in the treatment of cancer, offering controlled drug release and improved therapeutic efficacy. The self-assembled structures can be small molecules, polymers, peptides, or proteins, which can be used and functionalized to achieve tailored release and target specific cells, tissues, or organs. These structures can improve the solubility and stability of drugs having low aqueous solubility by encapsulating and protecting them from degradation.

It also provides a deeper evaluation and baseline for future prosthetic rehabilitation. The study aimed to measure and characterizes mandibular molars using a normal divider and measurement scale using mandibular casts.

Objective: Flow diverting stents (FDS) are increasingly used for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. While FDS can provide flow diversion of parent vessels, their high metal surface coverage can cause thromboembolism. Transcranial Doppler (TCD) emboli monitoring can be used to identify subclinical embolic phenomena after neurovascular procedures.

The ideal bone replacement graft should be able to trigger osteogenesis, cementogenesis and formation of a functional periodontal ligament. It has been theorized that bioactive glass, which is a ceramic has bioactive properties that guide and promote osteogenesis allowing rapid formation of bone.

There is growing awareness of the need to better constrain the contribution of atmospheric methane (CH) fluxes from urbanized estuaries due to the high global warming potential of CH and the accelerating growth of urban expansion. This study undertook seasonal sampling campaigns to understand the impact of urbanization on atmospheric CH fluxes and their drivers in a large, tropical estuary in India. Overall, the study found that the Cochin estuary emitted large amounts of CH (398.

Recurrence/metastasis that occurs after surgical resection of primary cancer is often the reason for poor survival in these patients. Lymph nodes are the most common site of metastasis in tongue tumors.

Objective: In India, usually, oral cancer is mostly identified at a progressive stage of malignancy. Hence, we are motivated to identify oral cancer in its early stages, which helps to increase the lifetime of the patient, but this early detection is also more challenging.
Methods: The proposed research work uses a probabilistic neural network (PNN) for the prediction of oral malignancy.
Background: Women's health and nutrition are key to their reproductive health and are important for optimising pregnancy outcomes. Formation of most foetal organs starts soon after conception and much before the woman has her first antenatal visit. The provision of biomedical, behavioural and social interventions to couples to address health, nutrition, behaviour issues and individual environmental risk factors that could contribute to improved maternal and child health outcomes before conception is crucial.

FNAC of the swelling showed desquamated epithelial cells from the nasolacrimal duct and abundant proteinaceous material admixed with fungal organisms like that of budding yeast forms, morphologically resembling Candida on May-Grunwald-Giemsa stain. Special stain with periodic acid-Schiff revealed positivity for budding yeast forms.
