However, its drawbacks encompass the variable quality of unregulated and unsupervised content. Thus, we aimed to evaluate the information in content related to chest pain found across Instagram and analyze the quality and reliability of chest pain-related content via Instagram posts.

This cross-sectional study aimed to determine the obstacles that prevented medical students in a health science university from publishing their research from 2018 to 2021. First, an online survey was distributed to assess the obstacles to publication perceived by the medical students.

We present the results of studies on the efficacy of recommended antimalarials and molecular markers of artemisinin and partner resistance in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Methods: Single-arm prospective studies were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of artesunate-sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (ASSP) in Afghanistan and Pakistan, artemether-lumefantrine (AL) in all countries, or dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine (DP) in Sudan for the treatment of Plasmodium falciparum.
This study explored the potential for predicting the quantities of microplastics (MPs) from easily measurable parameters in peatland sediment samples. We first applied correlation and Bayesian network analysis to examine the associations between physicochemical variables and the number of MPs measured from three districts of the Long An province in Vietnam. Further, we trained and tested three machine learning models, namely Least-Square Support Vector Machines (LS-SVM), Random Forest (RF), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) to predict the composite quantities of MPs using physicochemical parameters and sediment characteristics as predictors.

In this paper, the global and local reactivity descriptors of Asn in the protonated and neutral forms were evaluated. Also, the changes in reactivity were investigated when dipeptides were combined with Asn.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective analysis was performed on a prospectively maintained multicenter PAE database on all patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (January 2014 to July 2016). International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5) scores were collected at baseline and within 12 months after the procedure.
Background The European Association of Urology (EAU) recommends that the operative steps and documentation necessary for successful and appropriate management of bladder cancer include identifying factors necessary to assign disease risk stratification, clinical stage, adequacy of resection and the presence of complications and immediate intravesical chemotherapy administration. Aim To assess and improve the adequacy of current transurethral resection of bladder tumour (TURBT) documentation at a district general hospital in the UK against the EAU 2022 guidelines. Methods Operative notes over a one-year period were assessed for the inclusion of key steps to achieve a comprehensive TURBT as outlined by EAU guidelines.

Sludge discharged from wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) plays a critical role as a carrier and primary source of environmental microplastic contamination. A significantly average microplastic variation between 1000 and 301,400 particles kg has been reported in the sludge samples.

The aim was to evaluate and compare diagnostic performance of a point-of-care test and a glucose hexokinase laboratory method. Using risk-based screening, 175 pregnant women were included.

Method: Retrospective analysis of the UK-ROPE (UK Register of Prostate Embolization) multicentre database was conducted with inclusion of all patients with full IPSS questionnaire score data. The voiding and storage subscore improvement was compared between interventions.

To manage complex aortic arch disease using minimally invasive techniques, interventionalists have reported the use of multiple stent-graft devices deployed in a parallel configuration. The structural device-device and device-artery interactions arising during aortic arch parallel endografting, also known as chimney thoracic endovascular aortic repair (ch-TEVAR), is not well understood. Through the use of a radial force testing system we sought to characterise both the loading and deformation behaviour of parallel endografts in representative ch-TEVAR configurations.

Statistical analysis and Bayesian network (BN) modelling were used to evaluate relationships among water quality parameters in distribution pipes and their dependencies on weather parameters. Two robust predictive models for Total Bacteria in the network were built based on a deep learning approach (Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)).

Pentoxifylline, one of many drugs used to treat IC, acts by decreasing blood viscosity, improving erythrocyte flexibility, and promoting microcirculatory flow and tissue oxygen concentration. Many studies have evaluated the efficacy of pentoxifylline in treating people with PAD, but results of these studies are variable.

A low erythropoietin (EPO) level is a minor diagnostic criterion for polycythemia vera (PV). Controversies exist regarding the diagnostic value of a low EPO level when considering increasing availability of advanced molecular testing. We assessed the role of low EPO level for PV diagnosis in the context of positive JAK2 mutation status as well as other diagnostic parameters.

This study applies an integrated multiple regression, random forest regression, and quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA) modelling approach to assess the effect of climate-driven precipitation on pathogen infection risks in three drinking water treatment plants (WTPs) in Norway. Pathogen removal efficacies of treatment steps were calculated using process models.

Using data on water quality and environmental variables, models can be used to predict real time concentrations of FIB in raw water. This study evaluates the potentials of zero-inflated regression models (ZI), Random Forest regression model (RF) and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) to predict the concentration of FIB in the raw water source of a water treatment plant in Norway.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective cohort study was performed on patients who had previously undergone CT angiography before a procedure for PAE at our institution. Early CT angiography studies for PAE at our single center had initially been performed without GTN.
Importance: Patient safety improvement interventions usually address either work systems or team culture. We do not know which is more effective, or whether combining approaches is beneficial.
Objective: To compare improvement in surgical team performance after interventions addressing teamwork culture, work systems, or both.
