Objective: This qualitative study aimed to describe patients' experiences of a community pharmacy (CP)-based medication therapy management program (MTM).

Methods: Qualitative, semistructured, face-to-face interviews were conducted with a purposive sample of patients with uncontrolled diabetes who received care at a CP-based MTM clinic. Interocclusal records (IORs) created with bite registration materials (BRMs) accurately reflect the opposing teeth's physiological and anatomical associations in digital and traditional dentistry. This study assessed the linear dimensional accuracy of vinyl polysiloxane-based scannable and transparent BRMs over obligatory clinical time intervals (1, 24, 72, and 168 h/s). This study investigates the optical, mechanical, and antimicrobial properties of polypropylene (PP) fibers enhanced with titanium dioxide (TiO) and zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles. Using a Mach-Zehnder interferometric system, we examined the refractive indices, birefringence, and opto-mechanical behavior of blank PP, PP/TiO, and PP/ZnO nanocomposite fibers under various conditions, including different polarization orientations and during cold drawing processes. The 2D Fourier transform algorithm is employed to analyze interferometric data, enabling precise measurements of refractive index profiles and birefringence.

Aquatic systems with low zinc levels can experience a significant decrease in carbon dioxide uptake and limited growth of phytoplankton species. In this study, we describe the use of a new fluorescent sensor based on NH-MIL-53(Al), and modified with glutaraldehyde and sulfadoxine, for selectively detecting zinc ions in water and blood serum samples. Characterization of the synthesized material was performed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), confirming successful functionalization and preservation of the MOF structure.

Retinal microsurgery is a high-precision surgery performed on a delicate tissue requiring the skill of highly trained surgeons. Given the restricted range of instrument motion in the confined intraocular space, snake-like robots may prove to be a promising technology to provide surgeons with greater flexibility, dexterity, and positioning accuracy during retinal procedures such as retinal vein cannulation and epiretinal membrane peeling.
