The significance of necroptosis in recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer remains unclear. In this study, we utilized various bioinformatics methods to analyze the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) data, gene chip and the single-cell RNA-sequencing (scRNA seq) data. And a necroptosis-related genes signature for prognostic assessment of patients with cervical cancer was constructed successfully.

A dynamical model linking stress, social support, and health has been recently proposed and numerically analyzed from a classical point of view of integer-order calculus. Although interesting observations have been obtained in this way, the present work conducts a fractional-order analysis of that model. Under a periodic forcing of an environmental stress variable, the perceived stress has been analyzed through bifurcation diagrams and two well-known metrics of entropy and complexity, such as spectral entropy and C0 complexity.

This article is devoted to the determination of numerical solutions for the two-dimensional time-spacefractional Schrödinger equation. To do this, the unknown parameters are obtained using the Laguerre wavelet approach. We discretize the problem by using this technique.

This paper presents and investigates a new fractional discrete COVID-19 model which involves three variables: the new daily cases, additional severe cases and deaths. Here, we analyze the stability of the equilibrium point at different values of the fractional order. Using maximum Lyapunov exponents, phase attractors, bifurcation diagrams, the 0-1 test and approximation entropy (ApEn), it is shown that the dynamic behaviors of the model change from stable to chaotic behavior by varying the fractional orders.

Sensitivity analysis is an important aspect of model development as it can be used to assess the level of confidence that is associated with the outcomes of a study. In many practical problems, sensitivity analysis involves evaluating a large number of parameter combinations which may require an extensive amount of time and resources. However, such a computational burden can be avoided by identifying smaller subsets of parameter combinations that can be later used to generate the desired outcomes for other parameter combinations.

Telehealth helps to facilitate access to medical professionals by enabling remote medical services for the patients. These services have become gradually popular over the years with the advent of necessary technological infrastructure. The benefits of telehealth have been even more apparent since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, as people have become less inclined to visit doctors in person during the pandemic.

Analyzing the dynamics of tumor-immune systems can play an important role in the fight against cancer, since it can foster the development of more effective medical treatments. This paper was aimed at making a contribution to the study of tumor-immune dynamics by presenting a new model of cancer growth based on fractional-order differential equations. By investigating the system dynamics, the manuscript highlights the chaotic behaviors of the proposed cancer model for both the commensurate and the incommensurate cases.

In this paper, a neural adaptive fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for the integrated attitude and position control of spacecraft proximity operations in the presence of unknown parameters, disturbances, and actuator faults. The proposed controller is made up of a relative attitude control law and a relative position control law. Both the relative attitude control law and relative position control law are designed by adopting the neural networks (NNs) to approximate the upper bound of the lumped unknowns.

Over the last years, distributed consensus tracking control has received a lot of attention due to its benefits, such as low operational costs, high resilience, flexible scalability, and so on. However, control methods that do not consider faults in actuators and control agents are impractical in most systems. There is no research in the literature investigating the consensus tracking of supply chain networks subject to disturbances and faults in control input.

The Selkov system, which is typically employed to model glycolysis phenomena, unveils some rich dynamics and some other complex formations in biochemical reactions. In the present work, the synchronization problem of the glycolysis reaction-diffusion model is handled and examined. In addition, a novel convenient control law is designed in a linear form and, on the other hand, the stability of the associated error system is demonstrated through utilizing a suitable Lyapunov function.

This article proposes a robust end-to-end deep learning-induced fault recognition scheme by stacking multiple sparse-denoising autoencoders with a Softmax classifier, called stacked spare-denoising autoencoder (SSDAE)-Softmax, for the fault identification of complex industrial processes (CIPs). Specifically, sparse denoising autoencoder (SDAE) is established by integrating a sparse AE (SAE) with a denoising AE (DAE) for the low-dimensional but intrinsic feature representation of the CIP monitoring data (CIPMD) with possible noise contamination. SSDAE-Softmax is established by stacking multiple SDAEs with a layerwise pretraining procedure, and a Softmax classifier with a global fine-tuning strategy.

Machine-vision-based defect detection, instead of manual visual inspection, is becoming increasingly popular. In practice, images of the upper surface of cableway load sealing steel wire ropes are seriously affected by complex environments, including factors such as lubricants, adhering dust, natural light, reflections from metal or oil stains, and lack of defect samples. This makes it difficult to directly use traditional threshold-segmentation-based or supervised machine-learning-based defect detection methods for wire rope strand segmentation and fracture defect detection.

Although most of the early research studies on fractional-order systems were based on the Caputo or Riemann-Liouville fractional-order derivatives, it has recently been proven that these methods have some drawbacks. For instance, kernels of these methods have a singularity that occurs at the endpoint of an interval of definition. Thus, to overcome this issue, several new definitions of fractional derivatives have been introduced.

A novel approach to solve optimal control problems dealing simultaneously with fractional differential equations and time delay is proposed in this work. More precisely, a set of global radial basis functions are firstly used to approximate the states and control variables in the problem. Then, a collocation method is applied to convert the time-delay fractional optimal control problem to a nonlinear programming one.

In this paper, dynamical behavior and synchronization of a non-equilibrium four-dimensional chaotic system are studied. The system only includes one constant term and has hidden attractors. Some dynamical features of the governing system, such as invariance and symmetry, the existence of attractors and dissipativity, chaotic flow with a plane of equilibria, and offset boosting of the chaotic attractor, are stated and discussed and a new disturbance-observer-based adaptive terminal sliding mode control (ATSMC) method with input saturation is proposed for the control and synchronization of the chaotic system.

Today, four-dimensional chaotic systems are attracting considerable attention because of their special characteristics. This paper presents a non-equilibrium four-dimensional chaotic system with hidden attractors and investigates its dynamical behavior using a bifurcation diagram, as well as three well-known entropy measures, such as approximate entropy, sample entropy, and Fuzzy entropy. In order to stabilize the proposed chaotic system, an adaptive radial-basis function neural network (RBF-NN)-based control method is proposed to represent the model of the uncertain nonlinear dynamics of the system.
