Investigating infectious outcomes in adult patients undergoing solid organ transplantation: A retrospective single-center experience, Paris, France.

Objectives: This study described the demographic characteristics, clinical presentation, treatment, and outcomes of solid organ transplant recipients who were admitted to our center for infection. It also determined factors associated with a poor outcome, and compares early and late period infections.

Methods: In this retrospective observational study, conducted at a tertiary care center in France between October 2017 and March 2019, infectious outcomes of patients with solid organ transplant where studied.

Risk factors for severe Covid-19 breakthrough infections: an observational longitudinal study.

Background: The drive to vaccinate large populations is nowadays the main instrument for combating the pandemic and preventing serious disease and death. However, breakthrough infection (post-vaccination infection) still happens after vaccination among fully vaccinated people. We aimed to assess the severity outcomes and to determine its associated factors among vaccinated COVID-19 cases in the governorate of Sousse, Tunisia.

Forty-year Tunisian bibliometrics of general surgery theses in the four national faculties of medicine (1980-2019).

The objective of this work was to establish the bibliometric profile of Tunisian theses in 'general surgery' and to describe their themes, their study designs, and their writing quality. This is a retrospective descriptive bibliometric study, covering all the theses in medicine in the specialty of 'general surgery', defended in the four medical faculties of Tunisia, during the forty last years from 1980 to 2019. During the study period, 739 theses in 'general surgery' were discussed in Tunisia, with an average of 19 theses per year.

Characteristics of violence against women in Kairouan, Tunisia, in 2017.

Violence against women represents a serious concern worldwide. In Tunisia, despite an advanced legislative framework, we still receive women victims of violence. This survey aimed to characterize the demographic and clinical profile of women victims of violence in Kairouan, central Tunisia.
