Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is regarded as the most specific and sensitive of imaging modalities for the detection and progression of osteonecrosis (ON). We present MRI progression of ON in the knee in a 40-year-old female patient with Sjogren disease-related interstitial nephritis recently initiated on corticosteroids for deteriorating renal function. This case report correlates the degree of surrounding marrow edema with the patient's symptoms.

Understanding Patient Expectations of Health Care: A Qualitative Study.

Understanding and measuring patient expectations of health care is central to improving patient satisfaction and delivering patient-centered care. However, most empiric research in this field has focused on measuring patient expectations for specific diseases only. Patient expectations common to a variety of settings and clinical contexts need to be better understood to design measures with wider utility.

Long-term application potential of urban air mobility complementing public transport: an upper Bavaria example.

In this paper, the required models and methods to analyze and quantify the potential demand for urban air mobility (UAM) complementing public transport and possible impacts were defined and applied to the Munich Metropolitan region. An existing agent-based transport model of the study area were used and extended to cover socio-demographic changes up to the year 2030 and intermodal UAM services. An incremental logit model for UAM was derived to simulate demand for this new mode.

In Brazil's Atlantic Forest (AF) biodiversity conservation is of key importance since the fungal pathogen Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) has led to the rapid loss of amphibian populations here and worldwide. The impact of Bd on amphibians is determined by the host's immune system, of which the skin microbiome is a critical component. The richness and diversity of such cutaneous bacterial communities are known to be shaped by abiotic factors which thus may indirectly modulate host susceptibility to Bd.

Video gaming addiction and its association with memory, attention and learning skills in Lebanese children.

Background: Examining whether any association exists between addiction to video games and cognitive abilities in children could inform ongoing prevention and management of any possible harm. The objective of this study was to investigate the associations between addiction to video games, and memory, attention and learning abilities among a sample of Lebanese school children.

Methods: This cross-sectional study, conducted between January and May 2019, enrolled 566 school children aged between 9 and 13 years.

Geometric uncertainty analysis of MLC tracking for lung SABR.

Purpose: The purpose of this work was to report on the geometric uncertainty for patients treated with multi-leaf collimator (MLC) tracking for lung SABR to verify the accuracy of the system.

Methods: Seventeen patients were treated as part of the MLC tracking for lung SABR clinical trial using electromagnetic beacons implanted around the tumor acting as a surrogate for target motion. Sources of uncertainties evaluated in the study included the surrogate-target positional uncertainty, the beam-surrogate tracking uncertainty, the surrogate localization uncertainty, and the target delineation uncertainty.

Background: Both bullying victimization and perpetration were associated with depression, social phobia, physical and psychological child abuse and Internet addiction in Lebanon. The prevalence of bullying in Lebanon is alarming, with 50% of school-aged children and adolescents reporting being bullied at some point.
