Background: The objective of this study is to compare the measles immunoglobulin G (IgG) and rubella IgG levels in patient groups with mild and severe COVID-19 disease and reveal the possible relationship.
Methods: This study was conducted among COVID-19-confirmed patients over 18, under 65 years of age. This study involved 75 participants- divided into two groups.
Background: Inevitably, the floors of mosques are contaminated with microorganisms, and the risk of pathogen transmission is probably high between the many visitors, but the issue has been infrequently studied.
Objectives: Investigate microorganism variety and risk of contamination on commonly used carpets and rosaries (prayer beads).
Design: Cross-sectional.
Objectives: Taking the determination of gene by polymerized chain reaction (PCR) method as a reference in determining methicillin resistance in species, we aimed at comparing the reliability levels of disk diffusion, latex agglutination test and chromogenic agar use methods.
Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 228 strains isolated between January 2020 and December 2020 in Samsun Training and Research Hospital. Disk diffusion, latex agglutination and chromogen agar medium methods were applied along with the polymerized chain reaction (PCR) method.
