Schizophrenia is a kind of neurodevelopmental mental disorder in which patients begin to experience changes early in their development, typically manifesting around or after puberty and has a fluctuating course. Environmental disturbances during adolescence may be a risk factor for schizophrenia-like deficits. As a better treatment option, preventive intervention prior to schizophrenia may be more beneficial than direct treatment.

Methods: We obtained FAO genes, RNA-seq data and clinical information from the Msigdb, TCGA and GTEx databases.
From September 2019 to October 2020, pathogenetic analysis of three patients clinically diagnosed as transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) caused by human leukocyte antibodies was conducted by Guangzhou Blood Centre, including 2 males and 1 female, aged 56, 50 and 20 years old, respectively. Solid phase agglutination, anti-human globulin test and flow cytometry method were used to detect the presence of antibodies against patients. Sequencing-based human leukocyte antigen (HLA-SBT) typing technique was used to detect the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) genotypes of patients.

However, little is known about the pathological mechanism of anti-CD36 Ab-mediated TRALI, and potential therapies have not yet been identified. Here, we developed a murine model of anti-CD36 Ab-mediated TRALI to address these questions.

However, while previous studies in our laboratory have confirmed the effect of ATRN mutations on long-term memory, its specific role and the molecular mechanism by which it influences spatial cognition are poorly understood.
Methods: This study aimed to examine the effect of ATRN mutations on working memory in water maze with a novel ATRN-mutant rat generated by the CRISPR/Cas9 system; the mutation involved the substitution of the 505th amino acid, glycine (G), with cysteine (C), namely, a mutation from GGC to TGC.
, a bulbous flower known for its showy bracts, is widely used around the world as a cut flower, potted, and garden plant. Besides its ornamental value, this species is rich in terpenoid metabolites and could serve as a resource for essential oils. Here, we report a chromosome-level genome assembly of and describe its biosynthetic pathways for anthocyanins and terpenoids.

Conventional techniques are usually bulky, costly, and cannot provide on-site real-time measurements. Herein, a miniaturized, reliable, cost-effective, and portable optical emission method for rapid and sensitive determination of serum Li was developed based on a combination of miniaturized ultrasonic nebulization (MUN) and a low-power (≈22 W) atmospheric-pressure air-sustained discharge (APAD) excitation source.

Materials And Methods: Seventy-two 6-8-week-old male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were selected and were randomly divided into a sham operation group, a saline control group and a TUDCA treatment group (high and low dose groups). The experimental animals were sacrificed at 24 hours, 5 days and 10 days after spinal cord injury.

Blood constituent examination is an important means of health diagnosis. For blood constituent examination, we usually adopt the method of drawing blood, which bring pain and the risk of cross infection to the patient. Near infrared spectrum spectroscopy (NIRS) is a research hotspot in noninvasive blood constituent examination.

Methods: From December 2012 to June 2013, we conducted a questionnaire investigation among college students in Ningbo city about the effects of network education on their knowledge about sexual psychology, sexual physiology, sexual ethics, and reproductive health.
Results: A total of 7 362 college students accomplished the investigation, of whom 2 483 (42.
Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common malignant bone tumor occurring mostly in children and adolescents between 10 and 20 years of age with poor response to current therapeutics. Alisertib (ALS, MLN8237) is a selective Aurora kinase A inhibitor that displays anticancer effects on several types of cancer. However, the role of ALS in the treatment of OS remains unknown.

High signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of system is necessary to obtain accurate blood components in near infrared noninvasive biochemical analysis. In order to improve SNR of analytical system, high-efficiency double compound parabolic concentrator (DCPC) system was researched, which was aimed at increasing light utilization efficiency. Firstly, with the request of collection efficiency in near infrared noninvasive biochemical analysis, the characteristic of emergent rays through compound parabolic concentrator (CPC) was analyzed.

In noninvasive biochemical detection, the differential spectrum method based on the change in blood volume can eliminate the interference of human tissue background in theory, and obtain effective spectrum information of blood. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the differential spectrum method, simulated experiment was designed. Biological molecules solutions were used for simulating serum sample, filters with different absorption characteristic were used for simulating interference of tissue background, and an adjustable path-length cell was used for simulating blood volume change.

In noninvasive blood glucose measurement, it is difficult to keep the contact area between skin and internal reflectance element uniform while the mid-infrared spectra of human skin are taken, and this would lead to path-length variations. To study the effect of path-length variations on PLSR calibration model, in the present paper, according to the correlation coefficients between path-lengths and glucose concentrations, two PLSR models were achieved respectively and RMSECV were 31.3 and 4.

"Digital agriculture" or "precision agriculture" is an important direction of modern agriculture technique. It is the combination of the modern information technique and traditional agriculture and becomes a hotspot field in international agriculture research in recent years. As a nondestructive, real-time, effective and exact analysis technique, near infrared spectroscopy, by which precision agriculture could be carried out, has vast prospect in agrology and gradually gained the recognition.

In the early nineties of last century, great importance had been gradually attached to the potential of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) in the human body noninvasive biochemical examination. However, the human body is extremely complex. Although research teams have made some achievements in experimental simulations and in-vitro analysis, there is still no substantive breakthrough in clinical application now.
