Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a prevalent chronic inflammatory condition that significantly impacts patient quality of life and poses a substantial public health burden. Recent advancements in metabolomics have facilitated a deeper understanding of the metabolic pathways involved in AR, offering potential for new biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
Objective: This article aims to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical studies summarizing the metabolomic profiles of allergic rhinitis (AR) to gain deeper insights into the metabolic changes and pathological processes underlying AR.
With the rapid advancement of information technology, the need to achieve ultra-high-density data storage has become a pressing necessity. This study synthesized three hyperbranched polyimides (HBPI-TAPP, HBPI-(Zn)TAPP, and HBPI-(Cu)TAPP) by polymerizing 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-aminophenyl)porphyrin (TAPP), which features a cavity for metal ion coordination, with 4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA), to systematically investigate the effect of metal ion species on storage performance. According to the results, memory devices based on HBPI-(Zn)TAPP exhibit volatile SRAM (static random-access memory) characteristics, whereas devices employing HBPI-TAPP and HBPI-(Cu)TAPP demonstrate non-volatile WORM (write-once, read-many) characteristics.

Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are important immune cells in the tumor micro-environment (TME) and play a key role in the occurrence and development of cervical cancer. Four types of products including 2-chloro-3-oxindoles, 2,2-dichloro-3-oxindoles, 3,3-dichloro-2-oxindoles, and 2,3-dichloroindoles could be selectively obtained in moderate to excellent yields by switching the substrates. Various synthetically useful functional groups, such as halogen atoms, cyano, nitro, and methoxycarbonyl groups, remain intact during the reactions.

This inflammatory response plays a pivotal role in host resistance against parasitic infections, presenting a significant global health challenge.
Methods: We systematically searched for relevant articles from the Pubmed and the Web of Science database to summarize current insights into how inflammasomes function in preventing infections caused by the apicomplexan parasites Toxoplasma and Plasmodium.
Resonant Raman spectra of a two-dimensional (2D) non-van der Waals (vdW) material, molybdenum nitride (MoN), are measured across varying thicknesses, ranging from a few to tens of nanometers. Fifteen distinct Raman peaks are observed experimentally, and their assignments are made using first-principles calculations for the most stable AABB-stacking structure of MoN. The assignments are further supported by angular-dependent Raman measurements for all peaks, except the most intense one at 215 cm.
