The varied composition tends to influence each VOC's catalytic behavior in the reaction mixture. We investigated the catalytic destruction of multi-component VOCs including dichloromethane (DCM) and ethyl acetate (EA), as representatives from pharmaceutical waste gases, over co-supported HPO-RuO/CeO catalyst.

Infrared electrochromic devices (IR-ECDs) are pivotal for dynamic thermal regulation. However, the quest for all-solid-state IR-ECDs with high stability and a broadly tunable range of emissivity remains a challenge. This study presents the development of an all-solid-state infrared electrochromic device (IR-ECD) with the structure of ITO/HWO/TaO/Pd/MgNi based on the hydrogen-induced metal-insulator transition of Mg-Ni alloy films.

Methods: We conducted COPD surveillance in six cities of southern China between 2014 and 2019. We recorded the diagnosis of chronic bronchitis, respiratory symptoms, occupational exposure to VGDF and other covariates by using a structured questionnaire.
Using (1.0087±0.0044)×10^{10} J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, the process Ξ^{0}n→Ξ^{-}p is studied, where the Ξ^{0} baryon is produced in the process J/ψ→Ξ^{0}Ξ[over ¯]^{0} and the neutron is a component of the ^{9}Be, ^{12}C, and ^{197}Au nuclei in the beam pipe.

We explored the differential cross sections of the reaction e^{+}e^{-}→n[over ¯]n with data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII accelerator, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 354.6 pb^{-1} in total at twelve center-of-mass energies between sqrt[s]=2.

Our previous study has identified a highly conserved long noncoding RNA cardiac ischemia reperfusion associated Ku70 interacting lncRNA (CIRKIL) that was upregulated in myocardial infarction. The study aims to investigate whether CIRKIL regulates myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) through binding to Ku70.

Geodesics measure the shortest distance (either locally or globally) between two points on a curved surface and serve as a fundamental tool in digital geometry processing. Suppose that we have a parameterized path γ(t)=x(u(t),v(t)) on a surface x=x(u,v) with γ(0)=p and γ(1)=q. We formulate the two-point geodesic problem into a minimization problem [Formula: see text], where H(s) satisfies and H(s) ≥ 0 for .

Here, we conducted high pressure-temperature experiments mimicking the conditions of the deep lower mantle (DLM, 1800-2890 km in depth) and observed surprising mineralogical transformations in the presence of water. Ferropericlase, (Mg, Fe)O, which is the most abundant oxide mineral in Earth, reacts with HO to form a previously unknown (Mg, Fe)OH ( ≤ 1) phase.

Methods: We reviewed our institutional vessel wall imaging database. Patients with symptomatic MCA atherosclerosis, asymptomatic MCA atherosclerosis, or without MCA atherosclerosis were included.
Photocatalytic conversion of CO into CH represents an appealing approach to alleviate the world's continued reliance on fossil fuels and global warming resulting from increasing CO concentrations in the atmosphere. However, its practical application is greatly limited by serious electron-hole recombination in the photocatalysts and the production of CO and H as side reactions. Herein, for the first time, it is demonstrated that the photocatalytic reduction of CO to CH can be significantly improved through the simultaneous alloying and hydriding of metal cocatalysts.

Because NIR emission from Ln is extremely sensitive to X-H (X = C, N and O) bond vibration, we herein report to harness the secondary coordination sphere to design NIR luminescent lanthanide sensors. Toward this goal, we designed and synthesized two isomeric [(η-CH)Co{(DCO)P = O}]-Yb(III)-7,8,12,13,17,18-hexafluoro-5,10,15,20-tetrakis(pentafluorophenyl)porpholactol NIR emitters, Yb-up and Yb-down, based on the stereoisomerism of porphyrin peripheral β-hydroxyl group.

The interface microstructure of a silicon heterojunction (SHJ) solar cell was investigated. We found an ultrathin native oxide layer (NOL) with a thickness of several angstroms was formed on the crystalline silicon (c-Si) surface in a very short time (∼30 s) after being etched by HF solution. Although the NOL had a loose structure with defects that are detrimental for surface passivation, it acted as a barrier to restrain the epitaxial growth of hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) during the plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD).

Objective: The role of receptors for endogenous metabolic danger signals-associated molecular patterns has been characterized recently as bridging innate immune sensory systems for danger signals-associated molecular patterns to initiation of inflammation in bone marrow-derived cells, such as macrophages. However, it remains unknown whether endothelial cells (ECs), the cell type with the largest numbers and the first vessel cell type exposed to circulating danger signals-associated molecular patterns in the blood, can sense hyperlipidemia. This report determined whether caspase-1 plays a role in ECs in sensing hyperlipidemia and promoting EC activation.

The binding energies, binding distances, infrared vibrational frequencies, and electron densities at the bond critical points (BCPs) of the hydrogen bonds and halogen bonds prove that the addition of the Li···π interaction to benzene weakens the H···π and X···π interactions. The influences of the Li···π interaction on H···π interactions are greater than those on X···π interactions; the influences of the H···π interactions on the Li···π interaction are greater than X···π interactions on Li···π interaction.
